Pretty Acres Dog Park Pretty Acres Dog Park is a much smaller and quieter park than its sister in Mandeville. The area is nicely maintained and offers the same amenities as the park in Mandeville but in a much more relaxed setting. It also has a nice concrete walking path - a perfect place to work on off-leash training and obedience. The Park is open from dawn to dusk daily. To access the park, go down 190, turn right onto Park Place Drive, and then right onto Andrews Street. The Park is on your left, before Tiger Avenue. There is no access to the park through The Orchards gated community. See Details
Pet Friendly Waterfront Park
Waterfront Park Along Lakeshore Drive in Mandeville, LA there is a nice park on the shore of Lake Pontchartrain. The park covers over a mile of lake frontage, and has paved walking paths, as well as several large grass play areas. Additionally there are park benches, a gazebo, swing sets and jungle gyms for kids as well as many shady spots under large beautiful oak trees. There is an entrance to the harbor at one end of the park and several restaurants and pubs across the street. The park is a very popular place for people to play with their dogs or take them for walks. There are also doggie poop bag dispensers at a few places in the park.
