Wolf Hill is home to one of two off-leash dog areas operated by the Monmouth County Park System. This 4-acre area combines an area for dogs of all sizes as well as an area for dogs weighing 35 lbs or less. Dog waste bags and garbage cans can be found in both dog areas, and there are portable toilets near the parking lot. At present, there is no water source available at the site for dogs and humans.

The Dog Park is located in the Sewaren section near Alvin P. Williams Park. It has two separate fenced areas, water fountains, benches, shade, gazebos, agility equipment, poop bags, trash cans, and parking. It's also near the water, so there is usually a nice breeze.

The Hungry Puppy, a pet food and supply retailer at 1288 Route 33, Howell, opened its Puppy Park, a safe environment where pet owners can being their dogs to socialize. The Hungry Puppy Park is a free park and is open to the public from 8 a.m. to 7 p.m. Tuesdays through Fridays, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturdays and 10 a.m.to 4 p.m. Sundays.
