Ellicott Island Bark Park Pet owners love to bring their four-legged friends to Ellicott Island Bark Park. Located in Ellicott Creek of Tonawanda, NY, this off-leash dog park is unique in that it is not fenced, but rather it is surrounded by water with access via a double-gated footbridge. Park amenities include a dog beach, open and shaded areas, trails, and a free library station for human visitors. Volunteers provide bowls and fresh water. See Details

Dog Park at Thomas Bull Memorial Park Fido is invited to play at the dog park at Thomas Bull Memorial Park in Campbell Hill, NY. Dog Park at Nott Road Park Fido is invited to play at the dog park at Nott Road Park in Guilderland, NY. Once entering the park, you will veer left, and the off-leash facility will be straight ahead. Amenities include water, benches and agility equipment. Please note a dog tag is required to enter, and from late October until April, one section of the area will be lit until 7:00 PM. See Details

Watkins Glen State Park Watkins Glen State Park is a popular dog-friendly recreation area offering hiking and camping in the Finger Lakes region of New York. Glen's stream flows over towering cliffs to create 19 waterfalls within a two mile stretch. Fido is welcome to explore the trails in this park, but dogs must be kept on a leash or in a carrier. Jemmy's Dog Run at Madison Square Park Jemmy's Dog Run is a popular NYC dog recreation space in Madison Square Park. Double-entry/exit gates help ensure your dog's safety when anyone enters or leaves the park. Water is available for dogs during the late spring, summer, and early fall, but bring your own, just in case. Plenty of seating and shade are available.
