Sugarbush Resort Sugarbush Resort is pet-friendly. In summer, leashed dogs are welcome on our designated hiking trails and disc golf course. Unfortunately, dogs cannot go everywhere with you. Dogs are not permitted on lifts, ski trails during operating hours, in retail & food establishments, on the golf course, in the school house, or at the SHARC. Operating hours vary by season. Clarendon Gorge to Greenwall Shelter via Long Trail Clarendon Gorge to Greenwall Shelter via Long Trail is pet-friendly. This trail is 14.6 miles in length, but as an out-and-back, you can choose to hike as much or as little as you want. The white markers along the way will keep you and your pooch from straying from the path. Dogs who don’t want to hike all day but still want to brave the bridge will be pleased to know that it’s just a short walk from the trailhead parking area. Dogs must be leashed and all mess should be cleaned up after them. See Details
Lye Brook Falls Trail Lye Brook Falls Trail is a pet-friendly path in Manchester Center, VT. The trail, marked with blue blazes utilizes old logging railroad grades and old woods roads, up a steady gradual slope and leads to stunning, cascading waterfalls. The heavily trafficked pathway is 4.7 miles out and back and is rated as moderate. Dogs are welcome, as long as they are leashed along the way and cleaned up after. See Details

Killington Peak via Bucklin Trail Killington Peak via Bucklin Trail is a pet-friendly hike in Mendon, VT. At just over seven miles there and back, this more strenuous pathway is no walk in the park, but it’s worth every step. Hikers are rewarded with panoramic views of three state’s most-prized mountain ranges: Green Mountain, the White Mountains of New Hampshire and the Adirondacks of New York. Leashed dogs are welcome on the pathway, as long as they are well-behaved and cleaned up after. See Details
Burke Mountain Trail Fido is welcome to join you for an outdoor adventure on the pet-friendly Burke Mountain Trail. You and your pup can pick up the trailhead from the lower parking lot off of Sherburne Lodge Road. Leashed dogs are welcome on this intermediate hike which is approximately 3.7 miles to the summit over packed soil, gravel and rocks. Woodford State Park Woodford State Park is a dog-friendly recreation area in Woodford, VT. Bring Fido with you while you explore some of the 398 acres, which includes a 2.7-mile trail around Adams Reservoir, dense wooded areas, picnicking spots, several ponds and even a campsite.
