2-Bedroom Log Cabin

This 2-bedroom vacation rental in Stowe allows polite dogs of any size for a fee of $50/stay. No cats allowed.

Winhall Brook Campground

Dogs are allowed at Winhall Brook Campground and trails, but they must be kept on a leash no longer than 6 feet when outside your vehicle. Dogs should not be left unattended at the campsites. There are no pet fees. For more information on pet restrictions, please call (802) 824-4570.

Stowe Mountain Lodge

Stowe Mountain Lodge welcomes dogs with a combined weight up to 100 lbs for an additional fee of $125 per stay. All rooms are dog friendly. Dogs may not be left unattended at any time.

Dog Mountain

Dog Mountain is THE meeting place for dogs with their people. Located in the breathtakingly beautiful Northeast Kingdom of Vermont, it is a 150 acre farm that has been transformed into a doggy playscape, complete with swimming ponds, hiking trails an art gallery full of dog-related artwork and the only Dog Chapel in existence. The Chapel, built by Vermont folk artist and children's book author Stephen Huneck is visited by thousands annually to reflect and post message and photos of pets that have passed on. The Chapel walls are covered in layers of heartfelt notes. Dog Mountain hosts a number of annual events, including Memorial Day Celebration, August Dog Party, and October Dogfest.

Island Line Rail Trail

The Island Line Rail Trail is one of 1600 rail-trails supported by Rails-to-Trails Conservancy, a nonprofit organization that is working to create a nationwide network of trails from former rail lines and connecting corridors. Previously an unused railroad corridor, this "rail-trail" is now a great place to walk Fido in Burlington! The map below shows a parking area with convenient access to the Island Line Rail Trail. Off The Porch Dog Walks and Rambles is a dog daycare camp that offers dogs and their owners a variety of dog exercise options. Morning rambles are 4 hour off leash walks in dog friendly areas/parks, where dogs will socialize, run, play, hike, and sniff to their hearts' content. Evening walks can be scheduled, are typically shorter and work on leash skills along with plenty of exercise and exploring along the way. On Fridays they offer 4 hour rambles from 7am - 11am, and again from 1pm - 5pm, so your favorite companion is ready for a weekend with you!
