The Stowe Inn & Tavern

The Stowe Inn & Tavern welcomes two pets of any size for an additional fee of $30 per pet, per night. Pet friendly rooms are limited to Economy Rooms in the Carriage House. Guests traveling with pets must book "Economy" rooms.

The Paw House Inn

Vermont's Paw House Inn caters entirely to dog owners and their dogs. In fact, there is a $10 per night fee if you DO NOT bring a dog. Two dogs of any size are welcome for no additional fee. All rooms are dog friendly. No cats allowed.

4-Bedroom Lakefront House with Deck

Pets are allowed with prior approval from the homeowner only. Please inquire for information on pet fee and other restrictions.

Winhall Brook Campground

Dogs are allowed at Winhall Brook Campground and trails, but they must be kept on a leash no longer than 6 feet when outside your vehicle. Dogs should not be left unattended at the campsites. There are no pet fees. For more information on pet restrictions, please call (802) 824-4570.

Watson Upper Valley Dog Park

Watson Upper Valley is a 1.5 acre, full fenced off-leash dog park. Double gated and separated into small and large dog areas. Gravel and some grass areas. Water on site. Picnic table and dog waste stations on site. Plenty of free parking available. Membership not required but encouraged to help us ensure the park stays up and running. Island Line Rail Trail

The Island Line Rail Trail is one of 1600 rail-trails supported by Rails-to-Trails Conservancy, a nonprofit organization that is working to create a nationwide network of trails from former rail lines and connecting corridors. Previously an unused railroad corridor, this "rail-trail" is now a great place to walk Fido in Burlington! The map below shows a parking area with convenient access to the Island Line Rail Trail. Mount Mansfield Auto Toll Road

Enjoy the scenic views of Lake Champlain and the Adirondack Mountains from the comfort of your car. Bring your canine companion along as you wind your way to the summit ridge of Mount Mansfield on this historic auto toll road.

Magic Hat Brewing Company

Discover what makes Magic Hat delicious on the Magic Hat brewery tour. Dogs can join you on the self-guided tour of the brewery's production line and in the tasting room. Humans are treated to free samples of ale while pets are treated to free biscuits. Quench Fido's thirst at the Doggie Hydration Station on the way out.

Franklin County Humane Society promotes the health, welfare and humane treatment of animals in Northwestern Vermont by providing temporary shelter for them with the ultimate goal of finding them good, permanent homes within the community. They offer low-cost spay/neuter clinic, rabies and microchip clinics, cat and dog adoption, fundraising events, pet therapy, pet education, animal abuse investigating; lost & found services, pet food for parties in need, feral cat Trap and Release spay/neuter program, and animal behavior consultations.
