The Stowe Inn & Tavern

The Stowe Inn & Tavern welcomes two pets of any size for an additional fee of $30 per pet, per night. Pet friendly rooms are limited to Economy Rooms in the Carriage House. Guests traveling with pets must book "Economy" rooms.

The Paw House Inn

Vermont's Paw House Inn caters entirely to dog owners and their dogs. In fact, there is a $10 per night fee if you DO NOT bring a dog. Two dogs of any size are welcome for no additional fee. All rooms are dog friendly. No cats allowed.

Winhall Brook Campground

Dogs are allowed at Winhall Brook Campground and trails, but they must be kept on a leash no longer than 6 feet when outside your vehicle. Dogs should not be left unattended at the campsites. There are no pet fees. For more information on pet restrictions, please call (802) 824-4570.

Watson Upper Valley Dog Park

Watson Upper Valley is a 1.5 acre, full fenced off-leash dog park. Double gated and separated into small and large dog areas. Gravel and some grass areas. Water on site. Picnic table and dog waste stations on site. Plenty of free parking available. Membership not required but encouraged to help us ensure the park stays up and running. Island Line Rail Trail

The Island Line Rail Trail is one of 1600 rail-trails supported by Rails-to-Trails Conservancy, a nonprofit organization that is working to create a nationwide network of trails from former rail lines and connecting corridors. Previously an unused railroad corridor, this "rail-trail" is now a great place to walk Fido in Burlington! The map below shows a parking area with convenient access to the Island Line Rail Trail. Magic Hat Brewing Company

Leashed dogs are welcome at outdoor tables at this brewery. Magic Hat Brewing Company serves craft beers that are made on-site including #9, Dream Machine, Circus Boy, Electric Peel, and a revolving list of small batch and seasonal brews. The brewery also serves artisanal cheese plates, Caesar salads, and a variety of sandwiches including BBQ chicken, Reuben, grilled cheese, and Caprese. Magic Hat Brewing Company is open Monday - Saturday 11am - 7pm, Sunday noon - 5pm in the summertime; hours vary seasonally.
