The lake drops off gradually so swimming is great for kids. Moor your boat right off the beach. A quiet dirt road takes you to a large wooded lot and expansive lawn. Watson Upper Valley is a 1.5 acre, full fenced off-leash dog park. Double gated and separated into small and large dog areas. Gravel and some grass areas. Water on site. Picnic table and dog waste stations on site. Plenty of free parking available. Membership not required but encouraged to help us ensure the park stays up and running. Island Line Rail Trail

The Island Line Rail Trail is one of 1600 rail-trails supported by Rails-to-Trails Conservancy, a nonprofit organization that is working to create a nationwide network of trails from former rail lines and connecting corridors. Previously an unused railroad corridor, this "rail-trail" is now a great place to walk Fido in Burlington! The map below shows a parking area with convenient access to the Island Line Rail Trail.
