As an egg-ceptional reason to catch up with friends and family over food (or just an excuse to day drink), brunch has become a favorite weekend pastime for many, including Fido. Here are some amazing pet-friendly options where you can brunch it up with your furry best friend.
Brunch With Your Bichon

Barrio
Barrio, located in Chicago’s River North neighborhood, is a trendy Mexican restaurant and bar that serves brunch on weekends from 10 a.m. until 3 p.m. Fido is welcome to join you at one of their pet-friendly sidewalk tables where he can order from the Barkio Puppy Menu with options like skirt steak, burger patties, chicken breast, and dairy-free woof cream! Humans will be treated to refreshing house-made seltzers and coffee drinks in addition to culinary delights like fried chicken and churros, breakfast tacos, and lemon ricotta pancakes. Barrio’s famous guacamole, salsa, and a large selection of fine tequilas are also available and can’t be missed!
Book a room at the nearby Westin Chicago River North, which welcomes one dog up to 35 lbs for no additional fee. If you have big dogs, check out the Kinzie Hotel, also in River North, which allows two pets of any size for an additional fee of $50 per stay.
Fred 62
Located near Griffith Park in the Los Angeles neighborhood of Los Feliz, Fred 62 is a good spot to fuel up pre- or post-hike with Fido. Keep your eyes peeled for celebs while you brunch on the old-school-meets-California-cool diner’s sidewalk patio. Fred 62 serves a special brunch menu every Saturday and Sunday from 9 a.m. until 3 p.m., but you can order off of the breakfast menu anytime day or night, too! Choose from the Avocado Benny, smoked brisket hash or shakshuka, which you should pair with a bloody mary, cappuccino, or pitcher of mimosas. While there’s no set dog menu, you can treat your pup to inexpensive side items like two scrambled eggs, chicken sausage links, or applewood-smoked bacon.
Stay at The Kimpton Everly Hotel to be in the center of Hollywood and all of its splendor. The beautiful hotel welcomes pets of any size for no additional fee.
Mango’s Dockside Bistro
Brunch with your mutt at Mango’s Dockside Bistro will feel like a mini vacation. The waterside restaurant located on the edge of Smokehouse Bay on Marco Island, welcomes pups to join you at a shaded umbrella patio table. Enjoy the sea breeze and panoramic views of the bay and marina as you dine on buttermilk pancakes, omelets, avocado toast, or one of several varieties of eggs Benedict. Best of all, Mango's offers a dog menu with three options for your pup including chopped bacon, chopped grilled chicken, or Captain's Crunch - a mixture of both chicken and bacon. The breakfast/brunch menu is served on weekends in the late spring and summer from 11 a.m. until 1 p.m. and is available every day in winter.
Extend your mini vacay to a real one by booking overnight accommodations at this one-bedroom condo at Marco Inn Villas. Nosh on delectables like the Coconut Cream Pie French Toast, Hot to Tot Burrito, Oatmeal Creme Brulee, or Pork Carnitas Hash paired with a frozen screwdriver or iced coffee. Don’t forget Fido! Order him his own breakfast potatoes or bacon.
