Fairmont Orchid
There’s a reason Hawaiian honeymoons have been popular for generations. Newlyweds can escape to the peace of the Big Island’s Fairmont Orchid, which embraces the Aloha Spirit. Located on beautiful Kohala Beach, the hotel offers amenities for lovers like an oceanfront 24-hour pool for late-night swims, couples’ spa treatments in a private waterfall or oceanfront hut at the award-winning Spa Without Walls, and private dinners by candlelight. Amenities for pups include treats, a dog bed, and on-site pet relief areas. Island-hopping honeymooners can enjoy all kinds of dog-friendly activities in the Paradise of the Pacific. Go stargazing at Haleakala National Park, hike amazing seaside trails, or surf the waves with a lesson at Gone Surfing Hawaii.
The Fairmont Orchid welcomes two pets up to 25 lbs for an additional fee of $25 per pet, per night.
Waldorf Astoria Los Cabos Pedregal
If your pup is used to being pampered, he won’t want to leave the Waldorf Astoria Los Cabos Pedregal in Mexico’s Baja California peninsula. Each of the resort’s 115 rooms is outfitted with a plush bed, bowls, slippers, and robes for Fido. For newlyweds, every room offers a private terrace with a plunge pool facing the ocean. Order up complimentary chips, guacamole and beer every afternoon, and the hotel chef will even prepare cookies, pupsicles, and gourmet meals for Fido upon request. Five infinity pools, tennis courts, and a spectacular beach await when you decide to leave the room. Take your pup on a walk along the coast on the southernmost tip of the Baja Peninsula during low tide and discover the iconic Land's End Arch, one of Cabo’s most treasured natural landmarks. With an average winter temperature above 80°F, the resort city is a great pet-friendly tropical destination year-round.
Waldorf Astoria Los Cabos Pedregal allows pets up to 40 lbs for an additional fee of $150 per stay.
Montage Palmetto Bluff
Fido won’t be the only canine at Montage Palmetto Bluff. You’ll begin your honeymoon with a greeting from the resort’s four-legged ambassadors, Maggie and Cauley. Located in the idyllic South Carolina Lowcountry, this five-star resort was romantic enough to host Hailey Baldwin and Justin Beiber’s wedding in the fall of 2019. Newlyweds can enjoy an intimate meal at eight on-site restaurants, at unique venues on the property, or in the privacy of their room. There’s a room service menu just for pups, too, which includes homemade dog biscuits, chicken pasta, and ground Angus beef with rice and vegetables. Bride, groom and best friend can participate in activities like kayaking, SUP, or taking a stroll around the expansive grounds. Pet sitting is available for when the lovebirds want some alone time horseback riding or taking a boat tour. The concierge can also arrange a spa treatment for your furry friend while you indulge in one of the seven couples experiences on offer at Spa Montage.
Montage Palmetto Bluff welcomes two pets of any size for an additional fee of $100 per stay.
The Ojai Valley Inn & Spa
In addition to making honeymooners feel the love, The Ojai Valley Inn & Spa will treat four-legged VIPs with a personalized sign bearing your pet’s name to hang outside the door, a food bowl, and nightly turndown with a chew toy and tasty dog biscuits from the pastry kitchen. Arrange a romantic turndown service that includes a bottle of local Rosé, chocolate-covered strawberries, and rose petals on the bed. When it’s time to eat, you can bring Fido to dine on the terraces of Jimmy’s Pub or The Oak. Or, stay in bed and order room service for everyone including your pup from the “Furry Friends Menu.” Enjoy free use of the resort bicycles and golf driving range, and be sure to book the Couples Retreat package that includes a 50-minute couples massage and private Kuyam session. Toast the start of your marriage at Majestic Oak Vineyard and Winery, where pups are welcome to grab a seat on the patio or explore two beautiful acres of outdoor space.
Ojai Valley Inn & Spa welcomes two dogs of any size for an additional fee of $150 for one pet or $200 for two pets, per stay.

Dogs will also be welcomed with a water bowl at any restaurant with an outdoor dining area. Newlyweds will appreciate the variety of dining options at 10 restaurants and eight bars, gambling at the on-site casino, lazing or partying at four pools, and enjoying watersports at the beach.

When you want to detox from your Sin City escapades, hike with Fido at Red Rock Canyon National Conservation Area, located about 15 miles from The Strip. Newlyweds can also bring their dogs to Barx Parx for a fun indoor dog park experience where they can meet and socialize with other pet parents over beers.
