Bark at the Park with the Miami Marlins
Hit a grand slam with Fido this month in Miami! Throughout the season, the Miami Marlins invite pups to select Bark at the Park games, including three in April. Grab your tickets on the Promenade Level, designated especially for canine baseball fans. Dress your furry slugger up in his favorite Marlins gear and get ready to root for the home team!
Bark at the Park with the Miami Marlins will be held on April 1, 15 and 29 at Marlins Park. Stay nearby at the ultra dog-friendly Kimpton EPIC Hotel an IHG Hotel, where pets stay free and treats, toys and bowls can be found at the front desk.
Goldie Palooza
Celebrate all things Golden Retriever at the annual Goldie Palooza in Silverado, CA! This event brings together hundreds of Goldens and their humans for a day of socializing with new friends. Spend time exploring vendors, watching training demos, entering raffles, and be sure to dress Fido in his best getup so he can participate in the costume contest. There will also be music, photo ops and a giant group photo to commemorate the day.
Goldie Palooza will be held at Oak Canyon Park on April 7. Make it a weekend trip and stay at this spacious and majestic vacation rental suitable for large groups. With no additional pet fees and a beautiful backyard, it’s the perfect spot for you and your Golden to relax after the event.
Woof Watch Party
You and your pup can head to the dog-centric restaurant, Ruff Life on the Lake in Geneva-on-the-Lake, OH, to attend the Woof Watch Party and watch the solar eclipse! Grab an umbrella-shaded table on the lovely patio, order delicious food and drink options, snap a photo with Cosmic Snoopy, and cross your fingers to win one of the hourly giveaways. Eclipse watch glasses will be available for all attendees so you can safely view the spectacle.
Woof Watch Party will take place on April 8 beginning at noon. Spend the night at this cute cottage that welcomes Fido to join you.
Lowcountry Dogapalooza
Party animals are invited to a combined dog adoption event and music festival at Lowcountry Dogapalooza in Hanahan, SC. Over 20 local rescues will be in attendance with adoptable dogs looking for their forever homes. Meet your new furry best friend while jamming out to live bands. Local vendors and food trucks will also be on site.
Lowcountry Dogapalooza will take place on April 13 at Hanahan Ampitheater. After a long day, kick back at this lovely vacation rental that offers a fenced yard so Fido can nap in the sun.
Doggy Day at the Deer District
Make your way to Milwaukee, WI, for Doggy Day at the Deer District. Explore dozens of pet vendors and local food trucks while grabbing a drink from the bar and listening to live entertainment. Fido can enjoy the many canine activities at the Central Bark Doggy Activity Area. Prizes and giveaways cap off this exciting event!
Doggy Day at the Deer District will take place on April 13. Spend the night nearby at Aloft Milwaukee Downtown where four-legged guests receive treats, bowls and a bed upon arrival.
Wiggle Waggle Walk
Lace up your walking shoes, grab Fido’s leash and head out to Wiggle Waggle Walk in Pasadena, CA! There will be a 1-mile route and a 5K route to walk or run, and if Fido still has some energy left, head to the agility course so he can test his skills. Be sure to sniff out all the fun at the vendor fair and grab some food from the on-site food trucks. Pups can even register for the costume contest!
Wiggle Waggle Walk will be held from 8 to 11 a.m. on April 21 at Brookside Park, just outside of Rose Bowl Stadium. Rest your paws after your fun-filled day at Courtyard by Marriott Old Pasadena.
