Cinco de Mayo Pooch Parade

Cinco de Mayo is going to the dogs this year — for a great cause. The Moore Humane Society will hold its 3rd Annual Cinco de Mayo Pooch Parade Fundraiser to raise funds for animal rehabilitation and adoption. The event will take place Saturday, May 10 from 3 -5 p.m. Dog owners are invited to bring their canine companions to the Downtown Park in Southern Pines to participate including a chance to win Best Costume, Best Owner Dog Duo, Best Canine Duo, Best Dog Trick and newly added for this year’s event, Kids under 12 division. There will also be vendors present. Southern Pines K9 Unit will be our honored guests presenting the skills of their exceptionally trained dogs for the public to enjoy.
