Open Mic Night Everyone is invited to display their talents at this weekly event hosted by Deb Aronin. Furry friends are welcome to join their owners in watching comedy, music, poetry, ventriloquism and other skills in this judgment-free space. Registration is at 6:30 PM, and the open mic starts at 7:00 PM. See Details
Bark in the Park with Durham Bulls Bring Fido out to the ball game! This event continues throughout the summer so you can keep the fun rolling. Each dog needs their own Bark in the Park ticket. Seating will be in sections 128, 130, 132, 134 and the lawn. Volunteers will be on hand to watch your pup should you need to briefly leave these areas. Dogs are not allowed in any other area of the ballpark. All dogs must be current on their vaccinations. These games will be busy and the weather might be warm. Please ensure your dog is comfortable in these conditions before planning to attend the event. Dogs must be leashed at all times; no retractable leashes. See Details
Explore Elkin's Friday Night Live Leashed dogs can join you for this seasonal live music event every Friday night. Catch the tunes at various locations throughout town like The Railyard Beer Garden, the Farmer's Market Shelter, Angry Troll Brewing, Heritage & Trails Center Stage, Elkin Municipal Park, and Fruition Cocktail Bar. Music in the Gardens Well-behaved, leashed dogs are welcome to join their owners at this weekly event. Attendees can sip on specialty cocktails, play lawn games, and listen to live music from local artists while enjoying a relaxing evening. Guests may bring their own food, but outside drinks aren't permitted. See Details
Bocce Ball Tournament at Sideways Farm & Brewery Bring your favorite partner and your pup out for some friendly competition and support a great cause! All entry monies will be donated to Blue Ridge Humane Society. Tournament explanation and rules start at 1:00 PM and there's a prize for the winning team! Game is played rain or shine. Bark & Bond Social with The Dog Moms of Durham Bring your furry friends to the Barkyard for playtime and paw-some memories, in collaboration with The Dog Moms of Durham. After the fun, mingle with fellow dog lovers while enjoying delicious food and drinks. See Details
River Jam at the U.S. National Whitewater Center Live music takes place throughout the year at a one-of-a-kind outdoor venue in the middle of the world’s largest man-made whitewater river. Genres including roots rock, Americana, bluegrass, folk, and funk are featured on Thursday, Friday and Saturday nights. Pets are always welcome at the USNWC and must remain on leash, unless within the designated Off Leash area. See Details
Hendersonville Farmers Market Bring Fido with you while you shop a variety of local vendors selling fresh produce, arts & crafts, soaps & candles, baked goods, gifts, and more. Food trucks will also be on site. Parking is available at the market on Maple Street off of Fifth Avenue in addition to parking on surrounding streets. Please be mindful of Fido's paws - the pavement will get hot in summer months. See Details
Mint Hill Car Show - Hot Rods on the Lawn Furry friends are invited to join their owners at this monthly event where car enthusiasts can show off their hot rods. All makes, models and years are welcome to be parked in the lot and put on display for visitors to view. Not that Chick-fil-A won't be open during this event. See Details
Food Truck Fridays Summer Series Bring Fido along while you enjoy a delicious meal from a local food truck! Stalls will have unique items from vendors of all types. Pack a chair or blankets and listen to music in Hall Park. A "doggie" station is available to keep furry friends comfortable. See Details
Monday Night Trivia 21+ owners and their four-legged friends are invited to attend this weekly event where participants can test their knowledge. Teams will compete for the first-place prize during the three rounds. While you share your skills and sip on a drink, let Fido play in the off-leash dog park for just $5. Customers bringing dogs must have the West St. Dog app downloaded and provide proof of vaccinations. See Details
Concerts on the Creek Bring Fido and the family out for live music and dancing along the creek with beautiful mountain views. Two or three bands will play each night and there will be drinks and food trucks on site. Remember to keep your pup leashed during the event and don't forget a chair or blanket! See Details
Pets with Palettes On a select Saturday each month from May through October, you can create a masterpiece with Fido and learn about color theory! In partnership with The Barkery, home of Melissa's Natural Pet Treats, you and your pup will receive expert instruction on completing a paint project together. All materials are included. Bullington Gardens Fairy Trail Bring Fido, on a leash, to experience Bullington Gardens' Fairy Trail! A wonderful, imagination filled trail with fairy houses and whimsical landscapes along the way. Please ensure children and pets are supervised at all times. Dogs and loud noises can scare the fairies into hiding. The trail is closed on Sundays. See Details
Bark in the Park with the Greensboro Grasshoppers Take Fido out to a ballgame! Pooch pass proceeds will be donated to the Babe and Yogi Scholarship. All dogs must be leashed and licensed, and are not permitted on the concourse at any time. All participants must enter through the Edgeworth gate and have tickets for the Sunbrella Hill grass berm in left field. Blankets are strongly recommended, as lawn chairs are not permitted.
