Mark your calendars for Paws In The City!
This dog friendly event will be held from 6:30 PM to Midnight on November 6-7, 2009 at Millennium Center in Winston-Salem, NC. Sponsored by Fur-Ever Friends of North Carolina. Admission is $35 in advance or $40 at the door and benefits The Rico Memorial Fund for sick and injured animals.

Description
We would like to invite you to participate in the Triad’s newest and innovative fund raising gala – Paws In The City.
The Millennium Center event will raise money for Fur-Ever Friends’ Rico Memorial Fund for sick and injured animals throughout the Triad.
The Rico Fund was founded to help Rico, a Winston-Salem Police Department K-9, undergo costly cancer treatments. In Rico’s honor and memory, the fund has continued to aid hundreds of animals and their guardians in the community.
Highlights of the Event Feature:
Fur-Ever Friends will present an original painting of Rico by local artist Raymond Reid to the City of Winston-Salem. The portrait will be accepted by the city’s Mayor, Allen Joines and Police Chief Scott Cunningham.
