Description
DogFest is a local family-friendly and dog-friendly event that raises funds to support the Canine Companions mission of matching exceptional dogs with exceptional people. There will be kids activities, vendors, music and much more!
Canine Companions for Independence is a nonprofit 501 (c) 3 organization that provides highly trained assistance dogs to children, adults and veterans with disabilities. Established in 1975, Canine Companions is the largest and oldest provider of assistance dogs in the country and is recognized worldwide for the excellence of its dogs, and the quality and longevity of the matches it makes between dogs and people. There is no charge for the dog, its training and ongoing follow up services.
