Description
On Saturday December 5, 2008 the Animal Guardian Network will officially launch its first annual pet parade and festival. This event-within-an-event will kick-off with a parade of animal lovers and their dogs, some in fancy holiday attire, proudly walking right down the center of town led by a surprise Grand Marshall.
The parade route is just shy of a mile starting at Schoolhouse Road and continuing down Cave Creek Road to the Buffalo Chip Saloon where all the festivities take place.
The festival includes one-of-a-kind artisans and vendors, Blessing of the Animals by two ordained pet chaplains, contests, photos with Santa Paws, raffles, a western style cook-out and more!
The parade will commence officially at 10:00 a.m., (with registration at 8:30 a.m.) from the Tumbleweed located at the S.W. corner of School House Rd. and Cave Creek Rd., Cave Creek, AZ 85331. The parade will conclude at 11:00 a.m. with the festival ending at 1:00 p.m.
