Description
Spirit Run will host its first Dog Mile and first Dog Expo within its expo. The entrance fee for the Dog Mile is $35 for adults. Registrants may purchase a tech shirt for $10. Friendly dogs are welcome on leash. Guests with pets are asked to bring their own waste bags.
The Dog Mile will be a timed race for competitive runners, but joggers are welcome so long as they can finish in 15 minutes. In attendance will be various dog lovers including Found.org that will be performing free pet microchip scans, onsite registration, and pet social security card distribution.
Many other races are available for children and adults and there is a $25 and $35 entry fee for each one, respectively. The net proceeds of this long standing community event benefit education and athletics in the Newport - Mesa Unified School District.
