Newport Beach Dog Park Newport Beach Dog Park is the area's first dog park. Located at the northern end of the Civic Center and Park, this fenced area is a great place for your pooch to safely stretch her legs. There's on-street parking on Avocado Avenue near the dog park, or you can park in the Civic Center parking structure and walk through the 14-acre park with your leashed pooch over a bridge across the San Miguel. Dog owners are reminded to clean up any mess that is left behind. Newport Beach Dog Park is open Thursday through Tuesday from 7am to dusk and Wednesday from 9am to dusk. See Details

Huntington Beach Best Friend Dog Park The Best Friend Dog Park is located in beautiful Huntington Central Park at the intersection of Edwards Street & Inlet Drive in Huntington Beach, CA. The dog park is separated into two sections. The larger section is for large dogs. The smaller section, measuring about a half-acre, is for small dogs and/or larger dogs with handicaps. From the Small Dog side, there is a beautiful view of Lake Huntington! There are drinking stations supplied with fresh water located throughout both sides of the dog park. In addition, there are canopied areas throughout the dog park for protection from the sun. Admission to the dog park is absolutely free. Laguna Beach Dog Park Laguna Beach Dog Park is a great place for the dogs of Laguna Beach to get some exercise and socialize while their owners share the latest news from around town and around the world. The park is open daily from dawn to dusk, except Wednesdays when it's closed for maintenance. When at the dog park, you must pick up after your dog in and out of fenced area. Dogs must be leashed entering and exiting the park. Dogs must be currently licensed. Aggressive dogs must be removed from the park immediately. Professional dog training is not permitted. Spike or pinched collars are not permitted. Sports activities, bicycles, picnics, etc. are not permitted. Take any balls or other toys when you leave. You are responsible for your dog's conduct. Gum Grove Park Gum Grove Park is a 10 acre gem that is one of the largest and best dog parks in the area. It is fully fenced in and has water and dog bags at the Avalon entrance. There are two parking areas for park users: The main entrance is on Avalon and the second and smaller one is on Herone Pointe off of Seal Beach Blvd. This park has a old closed main road that cuts through it at the base and many nice trails that are branching on the above sloping hill. You can also hike the Hellman Trail which dead ends about a quarter mile north. Make sure to keep your dog on a leash, since local leash laws are always in effect. See Details
