Pooches on Parade

Calling all four-legged beauty queens (and kings!), Sandra Leigh Presents/Community Television of Santa Cruz and The Santa Cruz SPCA are holding a very special fundraiser to benefit homeless and neglected animals…Pooches on Parade! To be held at the beautiful Roaring Camp Railroad, Pooches on Parade promises to be a fun (and fashionable) day out for all. Start out by participating in our very special, once-in-a-lifetime doggie fashion photoshoot where your dog can diva-it-up on a Roaring Camp train. Then, head over to the pageant area where at 3pm we’ll be holding the hottest pooch pageant in the Bay Area. $10 contest entry fee will include a goody bag and DVD of the entire event! All proceeds will benefit the Santa Cruz SPCA who are currently raising funds to build a new shelter. Win fantastic prizes for best costume in several categories. Stay for the Santa Cruz SPCA Adoptable pageant featuring Santa Cruz SPCA dogs strutting their stuff in costumes sponsored by "Scentsy by Rameena". Admission to beautiful Roaring Camp Railroad is free, so potential adopters and dog appreciators can join the fun and browse local vendor and sponsor tables. All proceeds go to help homeless animals at the Santa Cruz SPCA Register at 1pm to have your dog featured in a once-in-a-lifetime Roaring Camp train photo shoot courtesy of Sandra Leigh Presents/Community Television of Santa Cruz and receive a DVD featuring your pet on the train and in the pageant!
