This annual dog friendly event will be held Saturday 8:00 AM to 12:00 PM and Sunday 12:00 PM to 4:00 PM on May 21-22, 2011 at Mariners Museum Park in Newport News, VA. Sponsored by Peninsula SPCA. Admission is $15 for 5K run, $10 for dog walk or $20 for both days and benefits Peninsula SPCA.

Description
Peninsula SPCA's Paws for a Cause is one of our largest fundraising event on the Peninsula. We are asking for animal supporters in the community to register to walk, run, or join the event to support our cause and to help raise money for our animals. The Paws for a Cause two-day event will be a celebration for all of our SPCA supporters!
Register now to receive your pledge packet. The earlier you register, the earlier you can begin to collecting pledges.
5K Fun Run takes place Saturday, May 21st (8am-12pm)
Dog Walk & Festival takes place Sunday, May 22nd (12pm - 4pm)
