Grand Adoption Event

Grand Adoption Event to be held April 30th from 11AM to 2PM adjacent to the Chick-Fil-A on Route 501, across from Tanger Outlets, Myrtle Beach, SC Critter Magazine is partnering with Chick-Fil-A to host an adoption event for all animal rescues and shelters in the area. We have confirmations from WARM, Carolina Boxers, Grateful Goldens, St. Francis Animal Shelter, Animal Guardians, Coastal Animal Rescue, Robin's Rescues, Tranquility Farms Horse Rescue, Whiskers Animal Rescue and Sanctuary, NOAH, Paws to the Rescue, Low Country Labs, Phoenix Rising Border Collies and Two by Two Animal and Bird Rescue to bring their adoptable animals to the event and hopefully find them homes, sweet homes - even the horses! There will be a doggie wash, and nail trims - all proceeds benefiting the participating rescues and shelters. The public is invited to bring their pets, and the whole family - there will be kids activities, and contests - cat dress alike, dog look alike. And for kids under 12, a photo contest - of their own Critters. Also, mini-seminars for hands-on canine massage, heart worm protection, and understanding canine language for successful adoptions. Vendors who advertise in Critter Magazine are given a booth at the event including pet suppliers, artists, custom collars, dog walkers and pet sitters to name a few. SC CARES will share their wildlife rescue efforts and bring a few rehabilitated animals for the crowd to learn about. Fresh in from Nashville, Duane Lee Proctor, country singer, will be providing live entertainment throughout the event. DHEC has granted us a rabies clinic for the event and Coastal Animal Rescue Veterinary Clinic will run it from Noon to 2PM. Shots are $5.00. Combo shots for dogs DHPP and Cats FRVCP will be $10.
