2nd Sunday on King Street Leashed dogs are welcome at this monthly event along King Street, between Queen and Calhoun Streets. The street is blocked off to cars and becomes a pedestrian zone where visitors can stroll freely, check out local businesses, enjoy outdoor shopping, admire artwork from curated artists, and indulge in offerings from food vendors. Dog Days of Summer with the Columbia Fireflies Take Fido out to the ballgame! Bringing your dog to the game with you is free, but all dogs must sit in the Berm. You must also bring a completed Dog Days of Summer Waiver with you to the game, which can be found on their website. Live Under the Oaks Concert Series Leashed dogs are welcome at this weekly concert series in May! Set beneath the venue's iconic oak tree, the series features a diverse lineup of local bands, including Bizness Suit, Forty Mile Detour, Skyler Waddell and the Stono River Project, Ryan Zimmerman, and Shaw Revolver. Attendees can enjoy food from rotating food trucks and purchase beer and wine from Burtons Grill + Bar. Guests are encouraged to bring their own chairs or blankets to relax and enjoy the performances.
