*** NOTE: DUE TO COVID-19, Sit, Stay, Praise! HAS BEEN CANCELED UNTIL FURTHER NOTICE. *** “Sit, Stay, Praise!” is a dog friendly casual worship service at Jefferson United Methodist Church. Bring your furry best buddy and enjoy a casual and comfortable time of worship together with music, discussion about God’s word, and fellowship time with others who love God, and who love their dogs. And be sure to share this with your dog-loving friends too! It’s happening every Sunday at 11 AM! People have incredible connections with their dogs, and those relationships are a great example of God’s unconditional love. A dog’s devotion and love has helped many people to cope with a world of troubles and adjustments. Dogs are little gifts from God to remind us of His true character. And dogs are also excellent at giving people comfort, putting them at ease, and putting smiles on their faces. For people who have some anxieties about social situations, dogs are excellent ambassadors for starting conversations and fostering relationships. Everyone is welcome, even if you don’t bring a dog, you can still enjoy this dog friendly worship experience. All canine congregants should be friendly, well-mannered and be current on their vaccinations and flea treatments.
