Bring your well-behaved pooch along to watch you paint! Turn that great photo of your favorite pet into a fantastic portrait! Please join Class Host Hazel as she helps you create a custom portrait of your pet. No matter what type of pet, at the end of the night, you will have a frame-worthy keepsake for your home or office wall. Once you sign up for the class, email Hazel a high-resolution digital photo . Uncropped, full-body shots with uncluttered backgrounds work best. This ensures your pet’s proportions are correct in the finished product. Head shots are perfect too. But remember, if the ears are cropped out of the photo, they will be cropped out of your painting. Using your photo, Hazel will print a grayscale outline of your pet onto a canvas (9” x 12”). Then she will provide you with a paint-by-number canvas and a custom paint palette for your pet’s portrait. Hazel will guide you step-by-step through the paint process and help you perfectly capture the likeness of your pet. A portion of the proceeds will benefit Portsmouth SPCA for every ticket sold. Class size is limited to 10.
