This dog friendly event will be held on September 27, 2025 at Southern Appalachian Brewery in Hendersonville, NC, with registration beginning at 2:00 PM. Admission is $10 per dog (plus human admission into the event) and benefits Blue Ridge Humane Society.

Description
This annual Wiener Dog Derby takes place during Oktoberfest at Southern Appalachian Brewery. Day-of registration starts at 2:00 PM and the races will begin at 3:00 PM. The number of heats will depend on how many dogs are registered. Costumes are encouraged! All breeds are welcome to attend Oktoberfest, but races are for Dachshunds or Dachshund mixes only.
