This annual dog friendly event will be held from 9:30 AM to 1:00 PM on September 10, 2011 at Central Park in Schenectady, NY. Sponsored by Price Chopper. Admission is free, but people are encouraged to collect pledges, and benefits the Animal Protective Foundation.

Description
The 19th Annual Fireplug 500 returns with a full schedule of events and activities for owners and pets alike. Participate as an individual walker or share the fun with a team. By participating, you will help improve the lives of unwanted pets in our community.
Lots of prizes and giveaways for registered walkers who collect top amounts. Every registered walker receives a doggy bag filled with goodies and a dog bandana.
Includes Bow Wow Bazaar, Rescue Roundup, Doggy Fun Park, Smooth-a-Pooch Booth, Blessing of the Animals and much, much more - come join the fun!
