Dogtober Fest
Mark your calendars for Dogtober Fest!
This dog friendly event will be held from 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM on October 18, 2026 at Kemper Outdoor Education Center in Blue Springs, MO. Sponsored by Jackson County Parks + Rec. Admission is free with donation of dry or canned dog food to benefit local animal shelters.

Description
Bring Fido to this huge fall festival that attracts dogs and dog owners from all over the area. You can
explore vendors, featuring everything from pet photos and pet supplies to pet sitters and rescue. There will also be contests like Best Trick, Dog/Owner Look-Alike, Best Tail-wagger, and the Howl-o-ween Costume Contest. In addition, there will be fun activities, including an agility course, Musical Discs to Bobbing for Biscuits.
