Colonial Market & Fair at George Washington's Mount Vernon

Mark your calendars for Colonial Market & Fair at George Washington's Mount Vernon! This dog-friendly event will be held from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM on September 19-20, 2026 at George Washington's Mount Vernon in Mount Vernon, VA. Admission is $30 per person, $16 per youth (ages 6-11), and free for kids under 5. Visit Website

Description

Step back in time at a lively, family-friendly marketplace inspired by the 18th century. Guests can browse handcrafted goods from skilled artisans, watch live demonstrations of traditional trades, and enjoy period-style music, food, and entertainment. Leashed dogs are permitted on the property with the exception of the following areas: the Mansion and all other historic buildings, the Ford Orientation Center, Donald W. Reynolds Museum and Education Center, the Shops of Mount Vernon, the Food Court and Pavilion, the Mount Vernon Inn Restaurant, and the Distillery & Gristmill.
