Stayed in April and noted less than friendly front desk staff. While taking out sofa bed, believed to have found a bed bug. Immediately checked out and front desk was less than helpful. To hotel's credit, manager did call the next day and state that examination by contracted service determined it was not a bed bug but a seed. We stated it looked like a bed bug and my daughter would not sleep in bed. We certainly could have been wrong, but then again, why are there seeds in bed? Marriott refused to provide refund. Will not be returning.

Big, clean suite with full kitchen for half what we paid for a dump in Savannah. Good breakfast. Veteran Memorial garden nearby is outstanding.
- SusanMar 24, 2024Good location
Great first-floor room. Very friendly staff, clean property, and perfect location for access to take dogs out.
- DebraJan 24, 2024Disgusting!
This place is so disgusting! Room 103 smelled so bad I couldn’t even walk through the door. Switched to another room. Hoping I don’t get fleas!! Board of health should close this place down!
- PhilipDec 7, 2023Happy visit
This Residence Inn is well located to nearby restaurants and is a newer hotel so everything comes across as new and clean. The walking area of dogs is pretty much the side of the road and the lawns of the nearby hotels. Also, the area appears safe .
- CatherineApr 30, 2023Perfect Overnight Stay
Room was spotless and close to an exit door on the first floor. Was very quiet despite many four legged well behaved guests. We were greeted very warmly going to the breakfast area this morning. Food was delicious. Look forward to our return stopover in a couple weeks. The beautiful Gold Star Memorial Park behind the hotel was a beautiful place to walk with your dog.
- RobMar 15, 2023Awesome facility and location
This hotel is my new “go-to” place to stay when traveling to/from DC and Florida. First, the venue is clean, spacious and the staff very friendly and helpful. Additionally, it’s adjacent to Veterans Park which is a beautiful and spacious place to walk your pup. I highly recommend this hotel as a superb place for you and your pets to stay.
- DebFeb 26, 2023Best Place to Stay
I was blown away by the easy check-in. Great pet walking areas with pet waste stations. The room was clean and comfortable and I loved the kitchenette. Made food prep for the pooches so much easier. I would go out of my way to stay there again.
- LoriSep 18, 2022Nice place for your pet and owners
Pet Friendly and clean for both pets and owners. The beds were comfortable and room was very clean. The breakfast was good, nice pool and outdoor seating area. Will return when needed.
- Jamila SerenaAug 29, 2022Kiya was right at home at this hotel!
Plenty of space.
- BonnieJun 18, 2022Convenient to shopping and restaurants
Old but clean and well kept.
- RitaFeb 7, 2022Noisy
Hard to sleep with loud HVAC noise right next to bed.
- ElizaDec 2, 2021Very quiet hotel beside a big park
Check-in was easy, friendly and helpful staff. The room was clean and comfortable. There are plenty of restaurants close by and breakfast was hot and plentiful. Reasonable pet fee.
- FrankAug 4, 2021Great For Dogs
I picked this location because it was a good halfway point on my trip from NJ to FL and because they allowed two large dogs to stay. We stayed here in the way down and on the way back. I have two Treeing Walker Coonhounds, 70 lbs and 50 lbs. The room on the first floor was very nice, clean and quiet. I found places to walk the dogs, except other owners don’t clean up after their dogs. The hotel also provided a great free breakfast: scrambled eggs; sausage; waffles; fresh fruit; bagels; cereal; and coffee/tea/juices, etc. The only negative during our trip south, was the hotel only had one staff member working who had to cover the entire hotel, but he was doing the best he could to accommodate everyone. I would recommend this hotel for dog owners.
- BeckMar 23, 2021Always great @ Residence Inn!
Accommodations were nice... plenty of areas and light to walk our pup. Love that they keep first floor rooms for pets!! Will visit again.
- CatherineFeb 4, 2021Convenient location.
Dog families are on the 1st floor. We get it, room has had a few scrapes and scratches. But it was AOK!
- LeoJan 27, 2021Big dog approved
Plenty of room to stretch out. Fully carpeted "paw paths" for the older guy with some arthritis. Several other large dogs staying and playing as well. Clean pet rest areas and a public park next door for morning exercise. Very friendly staff who are dog people themselves
- NancyJan 22, 2021Nice large suite
We had a 1st floor suite with only 2 other rooms nearby which helped with our puppy who barks at everything. The suite was large and we were able to order delivery from the steak house. And they had a hot breakfast in the morning that was really good. Only reason I did not give them 5 bones, was that there was only a small area for the dogs to do their business.
- ToddJan 4, 2021Great!
Great location. Spacious room for Fido.
- BeckyDec 1, 2020Perfect dog friendly hotel!!
We stayed here as the halfway mark on our northbound trip from Florida to PA with two dogs (one little and one medium sized) and my daughter. The hotel was so clean, so quiet (even though we saw lots of other people with dogs), so well laid out, plenty of room, clean dog walking area, and super nice staff. Stacy at the front desk greeted us last evening and was so welcoming and kind after a long day on the road. The two dogs slept almost from the minute we got in the door ( a huge change from the hotel we stayed in on the southbound trip where they were up almost all night because it was so loud). I can’t even believe it was a dog friendly hotel because it didn’t look or smell like any dogs had been there. But there were plenty. Multiple restaurants very close to hotel. If we do this trip again, I won’t stay anywhere other than this hotel.
- NatalieSep 16, 2020Comfortable but costly
- KateriJul 12, 2020Great place
No issues. My dogs were so at home! The facility was very dog friendly...nice!
- JanetJan 7, 2020Good Location And Nice
Pulled over for the night after driving all day from Florida. Very nice at the front desk, and got a second floor room near some steps. That helped getting our Basset Hound, Ernie in and out a few times. You get a hanger for the door to say a pet is inside and are allowed to leave them in the room to go out. We went to a nearby Chili’s and left Ernie in his travel crate. The room was really nice and we wished we had time to enjoy it more. Very nice patio and pool outside. Breakfast in the morning, and a very nice kitchen area in the room. Very comfy to stay overnight and convenient to the highway with plenty of places to eat and get gas!
- GayleNov 6, 2019Clean
It was very clean. That's always our biggest concern when traveling.
