We enjoyed our stay at Aloft Chapel Hill. Our dog was welcomed and there was easy access to a potty area at the front of the property. The bar/breakfast area has seating where pets were welcome, which was a nice bonus. It was a little loud in the evening, as can be expected on a Saturday night in a college town.

Very dog friendly but it’s super loud because hotel is right on a busy road. Make sure you ask for a room on the courtyard side.

Dog treats when you get out of the elevator. Clean, great location in Chapel Hill, friendly staff. Would prefer not have to pay for parking.

Very easy low contact check in and contact-less check out. The restaurant and bar are currently closed due to Covid, but lots of great options in the neighborhood. Very dog friendly and no extra fees. This hotel has become our go-to mid-point stop when we regularly drive from DC to SC.

So this is where I stayed on the very first night of an 18-day road trip w/ my dog. Aloft was a wonderful way to start the trip.
Room (bed and shower) were great.
Front desk staff were great.
And Alofts are incredibly dog friendly with bowls of water and bones in their lobbies. Very sweet touches.
The Aloft is a great pairing w/ Chapel Hill: Both are charming and leave you with a warm feeling.

Our second time here, this time for 2 nights. Bright & cheery lobby & room. Excellent dog friendly restaurant right next door. Wonderful walking trail very close. Been to Chapel Hill many times & this is now definitely our favorite hotel.

Wish more hotels were as dog friendly as these guys. Aloft in Chapel Hill is very clean and very friendly. It also help that the eateries nextdoor are pet friendly too.
