- AnneMay 31, 2024Loved it!
Our stay was wonderful! Gordon loved the big couch, especially when his bed was placed on it. The staff were very sweet and helpful.
- CyndiMay 20, 2024Great hotel and staff
This hotel is immaculate and the staff is fabulous. Just remember it’s in downtown St. Louis, so not a lot of green space. There is a park right around the corner from the hotel. Staff was super kind to our big boy Sam.
- JennApr 12, 2024Great room, would stay here again!
We stayed here for a long weekend with our dog to see the eclipse. Room was comfortable, clean and very quiet. We saw people coming and going, plus a lot of dogs but we never heard a sound. The hotel staff and valets were very friendly and welcoming, and they made for a great stay.
Area felt safe and was well lit (we walked around quite a bit), and there is a dirt and mulch park area that I assumed at first was the dog area. But, if you continue around the corner and pass the calzone shop and sculpture, there is an artificial grass area for dogs.
- GraceFeb 8, 2024Beautiful Rooms & Spaces
Very dog friendly staff and LOVE there was no pet fee. The hotel interior has been renovated and stunning.
The only reason I gave a 3 bone rating was the surrounding neighborhood. We were harassed by some jerk as the dogs and I got out of our car upon arrival. So, didn’t feel very safe. And the open area for pottying dogs was filthy. I realize the hotel can’t control these last two items, but wanted dog owners to be aware. - JeanineJan 13, 2024Great stay!
Nice room, friendly staff!
- SylviaDec 19, 2023Very dog friendly
Hotel was clean, staff was friendly, and the location was ideal. Be aware parking is valet only at $48/night.
- JustinDec 2, 2023Awesome place for peeps and pups!
Perfect location right downtown, nice restaurant and bar in hotel, and gift bags for dogs! Pawfect!
- RebeccaOct 18, 2023Great Boutique Hotel
Love this place for the staff and how they welcomed our pets.
- LeonardoOct 1, 2023Steeped in history
Beautiful hotel, great staff throughout (front desk and restaurant). The prices were very reasonable. Opportunities to walk Fido are no problem (small dog spot, bigger community park on less than 5 minute walk). Valet parking only.
- RandiSep 8, 2023Perfect stay
Super hotel. So friendly and dog accommodating. No dog fee. Fantastic rooms and bar/dining. Magnolia’s never disappoints.
- SimoneJun 25, 2023Not Impressed
Stayed in the heart of St. Louis but unfortunately I wasn’t impressed with the quality of the hotel room (carpet was so dirty, I would have happily lent them a carpet cleaner), I felt ichy all night, the office staff weren’t overly friendly and the dog park next to the hotel is dirty. Gravel and some bushes, no grass and people don’t scoop their poop so it was hard to navigate. I would try something else next time.
- DeniseMay 6, 2023Was great!
First time using this app and it was great help. Hotel Magnolia St. Louis was just what was needed.
- ErikMay 3, 2023Super Fancy
Had never been to St. Louis before so was surprised at the location. It is basically near the center of downtown. You have to pay for either valet ($40) or self-parking ($30 on exit, 1 night stay). Parking garage is close, but not connected to the building. We felt underdressed there because every other tenant was stepping out for a night on the town and we were just in regular clothes (LOL).
- StaceyApr 26, 20233 pet traveler
With 2 big dogs and 1 tiny, it’s hard to find a hotel to accommodate. They were so nice at check-in and gave each dog a treat bag! For being downtown, we were lucky there was a little nature like area next door. Not really grass, but plant/tree/garden type area. Worked perfectly!!
- ALISONApr 1, 2023First class for dogs
We chose this hotel because it allows dogs, and we could see some green space for the pups nearby in the sat view on maps. We will stay at this hotel again because it is soooo much more than that! The concierge treated our pups like welcomed guests. The green space is a well-lit, large park with benches and plenty of places to sniff and explore - complete with actual astroturf in one section and doggie bag/garbage stations. The food/bar and pool table/game area in the hotel is classy, and the elevators are fast. Well-managed, clean, and friendly.
- CamillaMar 25, 2023Pup Friendly
Beautiful hotel in the heart of St Louis. Our dog was treated wonderfully and presented with treats on arrival. The potty area is around the back but I’m a well lite park. Loved our stay. Staff so nice.
- JacqueFeb 27, 2023Very nice room and hotel
Good downtown location. We and our dog were all warmly welcomed.
- WynnJan 18, 2023Cute hotel, good location!
The room we had was nice and comfy, very clean and updated in decor/design. They have a complimentary milk and cookies in the evening for guests, and also provide treats for your dog upon check-in. Very friendly staff. Parking can be a challenge (we just valet’d the car), but its location is really great for checking out the city. If we go back to St. Louis for an actual trip (and not as a pit stop), we would definitely re-book here!
- KellyJan 18, 2023Nice room, dog friendly
Room was very nice. Arrived late & parking was a little tight. Valets were very helpful & accommodating. Would stay again.
- Mary JaneDec 22, 2022Charming Hotel
Staff was so kind and helpful. Gave our dog treats when we arrived. Not much space to relieve themselves but it is downtown so was expecting that. Would stay here again!
- SarahDec 19, 2022Great Dog-Friendly Place
PROS: Quiet room! Lovely and helpful people working. Great water pressure. Nice area close to the front door to let the dog out! Felt safe. CONS: Parking is a bit expensive, but without the pet fee and a very reasonable day rate, it all evens out. When we arrived to our room the curtains had fallen down. Not a big issue, but wanted to mention it.
- RachelOct 26, 2022Great place in downtown
Comfy, quiet, clean room. Central location. Could bring my 1 big dog while traveling through.
- ThomasOct 3, 2022Great location
Terrific downtown location in a nicely renovated old building with character. And all at a fair price.
- JonathanAug 29, 2022Super friendly staff
Everyone was super helpful and friendly.
- CarrieAug 2, 2022Great stay
Very pup friendly, historic hotel. Accommodations were very nice. Small place next to the hotel for pet relief
- MichaelJul 31, 2022Almost 100 Years of History
Updated from the 1920’s, this national Historic Landmark is completely pet friendly. As a bonus, there is no added pet fee. It retains the ambiance of its former life as the Mayfair while accommodating current traveler needs. My Boykin Spaniel and I were greeted by staff, and Murphy Brown enjoyed numerous pets. There’s the former post office park at end of the block for potty breaks. It’s located seven and one-half blocks from Gateway Arch National Park, and despite being downtown, I felt completely safe. Considering all, I felt this hotel was fairly priced at about $100 per night above the average for two star motels with pet fees added.
- AmyJul 19, 2022Great amenities!
Very comfortable rooms.
- EmilyJul 16, 2022Truly dog friendly!
There were quite a few other dogs there during our stay, and my Maple had a great time.
- AlexandraJul 9, 2022You get what you pay for
Room was decent, the water and AC works, and it was quiet enough. Everything else is threadbare and lacking. No shampoo, floor tiles shifted under you, bed very old and squeaky (but decently comfortable), thin and small towels, very thin sheets. You get what you pay for and I appreciated the cheap stay, however they have a no smoking policy but it was NOT enforced.
- LisaJun 1, 2022Great location, older hotel
Only blocks from the arch, with a dog park on the corner. Cookies and milk in the evening, coffee in the morning. The rooms are beautiful. Doggie has a treat bag but apparently they forgot to give me the “pet guide to STL.” The concierge contacted me after and apologized for the things they missed. Good value for downtown.
- RachelMay 26, 2022One of the BEST dog friendly hotels
From the front door staff to the rooms to the food AND pet friendly! I’m so impressed and highly recommend!
- KitaMay 20, 2022Stay Here
We booked this hotel from the Marriott website and were skeptical about the $0 pet fee, thinking it must be a typo. It's not. This hotel is all about dogs! Every room is pet friendly, they gave us a bag of treats when we checked in, and they provided a sheet of dog friendly places in the area. Awesome! The hotel itself is an older building but very nice with generously sized rooms. Next time I'm in St Louis I will absolutely be staying here again.
- БиатрисApr 15, 2022Great hotel
I stayed in the first week of April. despite it saying there was a pet weight limit there was none, no fee. This place was delightful. My 1, 100lb Black Russian Terrier and I were welcomed. Valet ($44/day) allowed me to take advantage of my breakfast vouchers by placing the dog in the car (during 50F temp) and then spend a 1/2 hr in the hotel restaurant having breakfast. I could not leave him in the room by himself (although allowed) because he would sound like a werewolf and howl. So, valet attendants got the car for me in the morning, I placed him in the car which he loves, had my breakfast and then we were on our way for the day. I took him to the adjacent dog park with their pretend grass and he did his business and took his potty breaks. this was a great reassurance for a woman traveling alone. I felt safe in the area not having to walk too far for relief breaks. I was placed on the 3rd floor as I wanted a lower floor, but every room allows pets. A perfect stay. We felt welcomed by all staff.
- TonyMar 30, 2022Great location, first time in a pet friendly hotel!
It’s just strange to take a pet along on a trip I guess and get a couple of ahs from the staff! Have to admit a brand new experience for me and my wife!! I will DEFINITELY stay at the Magnolia Hotel again for our next visit!!
- TiffanyMar 16, 2022Great location!
Loved this location! Our pup was greeted with plenty of head pats by the valet staff & a bag of treats just for her at check in. The room was comfortable & great for the humans too!
- MagdalenaMar 4, 2022Beautiful hotel!
Hotel staff was friendly to us and our babies. Loved the short stay.
- CindyFeb 20, 2022Awesome hotel
Gorgeous hotel in a great location. We had a king suite and it was perfect for our pups. The room seemed very sound proof. There were signs that other dogs were on our floor but we heard nothing all night. No amenities were provided for our dogs but we did not specifically request any. Overall very happy with our first BringFido experience.
- RJan 30, 2022Excellent staff
I was traveling with multiple pets, and going up and down the elevator, and then walking outside to go around the building to the doggy area was very inconvenient, especially considering the cold. Otherwise the hotel was quiet and comfortable. Pam (hotel manager) was amazing, and was Mary Lynn (restaurant manager). The valets and front desk staff were friendly and helpful. However, the cost of parking was too high and the valet service had to be used unless you wanted to drive around St. Louis in the middle of the night looking for parking.
- FritzDec 30, 2021Super pet friendly staff
Wonderful pet friendly staff; clean and comfortable room.
- More than a year agoHighly recommend
Beautiful hotel inside and out, with fantastic walking space around it, including shaded park like setting and sculpture. Very clean spacious high end rooms. Outdoor seating restaurant attached.
- JenSep 10, 2021Great hotel
Beautiful hotel and great food in the area.
- LarisaAug 22, 2021Great location fun atmosphere
Dogs were treated like royalty. We would definitely stay here again!
- SusanApr 29, 2021Very nice!
The people were nice. The bar was cool. There is a little Doggy area a few doors down, my dogs had to hold it so as to not pee on the sidewalk. But it was close enough.
- WarrenApr 8, 2021Great place and location
Excellent service
- ColleenFeb 1, 2021Great Location, lovely hotel!!! Very friendly and helpful staff
small dog relieve area, treats on arrival.

This is an outdated hotel. It’s old and dusty. Many people were not using masks, and the hotel staff was not asking them to wear a mask either. Parking didn't work, so we had to Park at another hotel. There is a nice doggy area for dogs to relieve themselves.
- NadiaDec 8, 2020Excellent
Great location, very pet friendly. Clean and spacious rooms. 10/10 would recommend.
- RyanNov 21, 2020Great Stay
Extremely welcoming and accommodating staff and a very high quality room and property. The only FYI is it IS in a downtown area, so there aren't vast open dog walking spaces, but our pup is used to that.
- JessieOct 13, 2020Very dog friendly
Loved staying at this place with our pup
- CarlaOct 10, 2020Great room
The dog space has no grass, so if your pup needs grass be aware you will have a walk to find some.
- MelissaAug 21, 2020Dog friendly front desk staff
Provided treats when we came in.
- JohnAug 11, 2020Great option in downtown St Louis
Our last stay was so good, we decided to stay again on the way back!
