Excellent stay
Heat HotelLocation is superb (for Fido off leash dog park less than 5-minute scenic walk from hotel; for owner dog friendly restaurants and cafés even closer). The rooms (we had a king bed) are spacious with a balcony that faced the London Bridge. Staff (Michael at front desk as well as others) were friendly and very customer oriented. Parking directly in front of the hotel. What is there not to like? If one really would search for an issue, my personal preference for hotels in general would be to replace small (toiletry) plastic bottles with refillable wall mounted dispensers. Less plastic on the landfill surely should be everyone's goal.

Didn't feel safe
La Quinta Inn by Wyndham Santa FeThe front desk employee seemed impatient and provided false information about availability of carts to facilitate moving the luggage (none were available). No wifi was available and no info was provided about when it would be restored. The pool was drained, dirty and obviously closed - I am currently at a La Quinta in Flagstaff that has a functional, operating pool. Oddly enough the mirror in the room was blocked by the fridge and microwave. The rooms are dated and not well maintained which is applicable to the entire complex. No breakfast (10% discount at the diner close by). However, the room was clean (kudos to Maria).

Steeped in history
Magnolia Hotel St. Louis, a Tribute Portfolio HotelBeautiful hotel, great staff throughout (front desk and restaurant). The prices were very reasonable. Opportunities to walk Fido are no problem (small dog spot, bigger community park on less than 5 minute walk). Valet parking only.

Not dog ready
My Place Hotel - Amarillo West/ Medical Center TXRoom was good but not clean (hairs in sink and on bathroom floor mat, fridge contained two packs of hardboiled eggs and a juice container filled with water? Rooms and hallway - at least on the first floor - are carpeted, not really dog ready. No breakfast. Coffee and hot water available. Walking dog is possible around the hotel.

Surety HotelBeautiful hotel, very customer oriented personnel. Not all services were available. Parking turned out to be less problematic than it seemed.

La Quinta by Wyndham KearneyLocation amidst convention center area but some nice, dog friendly dining opportunities close by (brief walking distance). Friendly staff, good breakfast. Ample opportunity to walk the dog.

Great staff
Hyatt Place Denver Cherry CreekVery friendly, customer oriented staff. Room was spacious, 7th floor. Eateries in the vicinity were unfortunately either closed or did not accommodate dining with a dog. We ended up grabbing a bite at the hotel (small menu available, bar was good) and our puppy could be with us.

Good free breakfast
Aarchway InnFriendly staff, rooms are a bit dated. Pet area is very small but one can walk the dog in the area. Coffee shop in lobby provides great (non-alcoholic) beverages.

Friendly staff
La Quinta Inn & Suites by Wyndham Las Vegas NellisFriendly reception but room was not ready upon arrival at around 3:30pm. Location is somewhat remote. and room dated but clean. Good free breakfast, convenient parking. Dog walking limited.
