Nice old fashioned room. It was clean, comfortable and quiet. The breakfast was more pre-packaged food.

The Retro Inn is worth the stay with your pup. a nice-size fenced-in area with plenty of seating for the humans. Two grills available and even outdoor movie viewing area!! Rooms are comfy, maybe a bit dated but beds were comfortable. We liked the themed rooms, lots of retro memorabilia and even the large-sized chess set. Front desk staff super friendly and helpful.

The room was really nice with mostly tile floor which is great for dog water bowls etc. And there were plenty of small grassy areas for the dogs. Great staff and nice breakfast bar.

While visiting the area with our dogs, we stayed at The Retro Inn. The staff was very friendly and welcoming. There was lots of green space for potty breaks and they even offered the gated “backyard” for some off-leash time. The room was clean and themed for the 50’s. Would def stay here again.

If I could give a 10 bones I would. Clean, clean, clean. Great area for relieving your dog. Outstanding continental breakfast that was better than most large motels/hotels. Highly recommend.

This was such a great place to stay! The rooms were roomy for 2 large dogs that we brought with us and it was SOOOO clean!!!! There were lots of places to walk your dogs and lots of places to sit outside. We will always stay here on our annual trek to visit our kids.

A fun little retro motel. We enjoyed our stay there. Motel clerk was very friendly and helpful. Room was clean and comfortable. Nice grassy area in the middle for people and dogs to enjoy.

Have stayed here several times. Great for dogs and their humans. A classic motor lodge. Themed rooms. If you want high tech glamour hotel, not your choice. Good breakfast. Plenty of grass for the dogs.

We appreciated the parts of this vintage motel that they updated, while they accentuated the cool things like the tile in the bathroom. Nice grassy center courtyard for our 4 legged family members too. We'll go back for sure.

I have three very large dogs and this motel was wonderful. Stayed one night, then decided to book another. Lots of green space and the vast majority of other travelers were very considerate about picking up after their pets. Will keep in mind for future accommodations for certain!

We stayed here for just one night on a road trip. Pleasant grounds and staff. Comfy bed. Grass around the motel (and some fields out back) to walk the pups.

It’s a funky joint, the staff was wonderful and affordable to take your pet. They have people that go through the property everyday to clean up after the animals.

Everything we needed. They even packed chilled breakfasts for us. Loved the large size chess set, ping pong, and grills!

This motel was the greatest place to spend the night with our 2 senior dogs. They have a large fenced in area for the dogs to roam. Rooms were clean, staff was very friendly and made our stay enjoyable. Will definitely stay there again when passing through Cortez.

Room was clean and affordable...nice grassy area out front for doing the business. There’s a dog park a short drive away, but a way better one in nearby Mancos, CO

This motel was FANTASTIC!!!! The rooms are clean and FUN!!! If you get the chance to stay here do it!!! They do charge for the pets, but it is worth it! We will definitely be going back just to stay in another room!

Friendly staff, really cute decorating, lots of space for doggy business. Rooms are numbered for the retro years. They had every kind of jam imaginable for the toast which was a unique touch. Had a couch and coffee table which was nice for relaxing in the evening.

This is a very unassuming place from the outside, but the rooms are so unique. Slot of thought was put in to this place and....ladies....we were thought of when this was put together.....full length mirrors, plenty of conditioner and a special towel to remove makeup. I could go on and on, but the best recommendation I can give is....dont pass up this place when near Cortez.

Stopped here after a long day on the road. What a great find! Rooms were very comfortable and great art in each room. Very retro colors! Good areas to walk our pup too! Loved it!!

Our room was clean and comfortable. The hotel itself is charming with its retro theme. We didn’t have to pay a pet fee. Ample space on and around property to walk your dog. Would stay here again.
