    Panama City review

    Location was alright; a bit of distance from the nearest dog beach, but in a safe district. Dog received daily snacks from hotel staff. All hotel signage suggested pets were to be on first floor rooms, but we were put on fourth floor. Elevator is not a smooth ride, so dog did not like that. Nearest gas station within walking distance unfortunately was not dog-friendly.

    Nice Place

    The room was clean, bed was comfy, staff was friendly, linens were fresh. The only reason I didn’t give this hotel 5 bones is because I just don’t think it’s practical to have carpet in a “pet friendly” room.
    Otherwise, the place is perfect, and I will definitely stay here again should it become necessary with my work.

    Desperate And Pleasantly Surprised

    We came down on a whim and found zeeeero hotels in our price range that were also pet friendly the first night so we ended up in a panic but we found this location and even though it wasn’t in PCB the drive wasn’t too bad to the dog park beach. The friendly staff helped us get checked-in, even though we were an hour early. The room was very clean and modern. The air conditioning works :) which our pup really enjoyed.
    Side note: due to Covid-19 the amenities were not available. Daily maid service had been suspended for the health of the staff to lessen risk of exposure. The front desk had containers for “Clean Pens” and “Dirty Pens.“ By all I saw, this establishment was taking extra steps to help keep staff and guests safe.

    More than a year ago

    Their “no pet fee” turned into a nightmare! Stayed a few nights with my dog that travels with me and brought my kennel. Dog stays kenneled unless I’m with him. When I checked into room, there were already few spots on the carpet (it IS a pet-friendly hotel). A WEEK after I checked out, coming back for another stay, I get a call saying due to my “dog defecating and urinating on the floor on my last visit, I’d have to pay $250 sanitizing fee on check in.” Seriously?! A WEEK after I checked out! The lady said they found a wet spot by the door (assumed it was urine). Told her it was where a bottle of water was dropped upon check out. I was told I should’ve reported the spots on the floor when I checked in because they have a ‘triple check’ (3 people check the room after each discharge). Needless to say I cancelled my reservation and found a better place to bring my dog back to! Don’t be mislead by the “no pet fee policy”!!
