Great place to stay.

The front desk staff were very nice and accommodating. We had a room on the second floor and it was clean and big. It was quiet and didn’t hear other dogs or people. They had a grassy area in the back with a dog waste station. The breakfast was ok, but it was just a continental breakfast. Would stay again.

Hey, if you have a dog and are staying at a dog friendly hotel, it’s not the hotel’s responsibility to pick up your dog’s poop, it’s yours even if your dog is super small and you think it’s not a big deal. A refreshed hotel with helpful staff and well cleaned rooms. There’s good green space close along with retail for gas, groceries and a few chain restaurants to grab some food. Convenient and a decent stop.

We’ve stay at many hotels with our Fido and I must say this is one of the BEST. Plenty of places to walk your Fido. Very clean and relaxing. If I was traveling this way again I would definitely stay here.

Located right off the highway for quick trip. Staff was friendly. Room was clean; I got one the first floor near the back door for east exit with my pup to the pet relief area. The only issue I had was noisy neighbors - came in at 1am, yelling in the hallway and in their room with the door open.

Blood spots on comforter or what looked like blood. Got a new comforter that one has a black stain and paw prints on it. Had to get 2 new room keys each time I left the room because they stopped working, so I asked for 5. Room smelled like mopped musty unaired out area, and window lock didn't work; it slides open on the first floor. Their solution, downgrade me from a king to a double queen that has a door going to the adjacent room and I could clearly hear the people's normal voiced conversation fully. The ac unit in that room didn't work. Oh and they tell you your pet can't be in the lobby, breakfast area, outside courtyard or pool. Do not stay here, please go somewhere else, and to add to it the wood floor in the room leaves stains on your foot. Obviously a dirty place. What a joke.

The pet friendly hotel is modern and updated. The front reservation staff was friendly and helpful. Rooms are updated as well and look nice. We were given a first floor room which was nice for access to the dog area. Unfortunately, once I settled into bed I was bitten by a couple fleas. I informed the staff so they could take care of it.

The staff was courteous. The room appeared clean and even smelled fresh and clean. There was an area to walk my dog. Overall this was one of the better hotel experiences I have had.

After driving 14 hours of our 21 hour trip, being greeted by the friendly front desk staff was so nice. Clean room and plenty of space to walk the doggies.

This hotel had everything my dog needed. There were plenty of green spaces although some of them were poopy and hadn’t been cleaned in awhile. The story is different for people, though. It appears that the hotel has had some work done and it looked nice on the surface. However, it was a battle every time we tried to get into our room because the doorknob mechanism didn’t work right. If it didn’t open when we pushed down on the handle so we were told to slide the card again and pull up on the handle. We still had to force the door. Also, they have an insert in the toilet tank that I’ve never seen before. If you don’t flush it just right, it doesn’t flush and you have to wait 15-20 minutes for the tank to refill. Thank heavens we were on the first floor because both elevators closest to the lobby were not working. I’m glad we only stayed one night.

Overall pretty clean. They didn’t have any weight restrictions as we had two 70 lb dogs and they didn’t mention an issue. The room/carpet smelt very wet and as if it had just been “shampooed”. The smell never went away and carpet was wet all night. The bed was very worn and sunk in. The potty areas were more grassy and open than most hotels. Dogs have to come through the back door which isn’t a problem for us but some may complain I suppose. Friendly staff.

Super friendly staff! Nice breakfast options. My only complaint was that the designated pet area was not well-lit, in a far part of the parking lot, and was pine needles rather than grass. Otherwise, it was a great stay.

Clean and courteous, however dogs were not allowed to come through lobby or use courtyard. We were asked to use the side entrance only when entering and exiting the building. Not an issue for us, but some families may want to be aware.

Check in was easy. Elizabeth (not sure about name) was great. Very courteous & helpful. Room was great, better than expected. Only complaint is that other dog owners not picking up waste.

Staff helpful and friendly. No hot water in the shower, the toilet took 2-3 flushes to clean. Needs maintenance.

The location was convenient and set up well for pets. The room was clean and fairly comfortable. They had only double beds, not queen. If they tell you to park in the back by the barn, do not listen! Two cars were broken into back there and they do not have cameras in that area. Be safe and park on the side near the windows, it will be worth the walk.

The route to the hotel is not intuitive, but GPS helped a lot! Covid-19 restrictions prevented pups in the lobby (I totally understood) but to compensate, our room was two doors away from the 24 hr.-locked door. Waffle House literally next door and after 12 hours on the road across Texas, it was a good and convenient place for take out. Extremely friendly staff. Like all BringFido reservations, check in was smooth.

As soon as I pulled into the hotel, I knew it wasn’t going to be a good visit. There are no grass areas for the dogs. However, I still gave it a chance. The lady at the front desk was extremely nice. However, the room was filthy. I instantly went back to the front desk and let them know I would be checking out. I was lucky enough to get a full refund. If you are traveling through the area, I wouldn’t stay at La Quinta Shreveport Airport location.

Check in was easy, rooms are extremely clean. Hardwood floor (assuming all pet friendly rooms) is a unique touch. Only complaint is the noise from the surrounding doors shutting. If you have a dog like mine, it can be a bit of a pain.

Check in employee wasn't the friendliest. Lots of trash at back door - overflowing trash can and more trash everywhere early in the morning. Dog area was under lights. No bags and large poop in grass. Trash was cleaned up by the time we left the next morning. Bed was horrible. Pillows were like rocks. Could hear door opening and closing in other rooms all night. Room was clean. Employee at check out was really nice.

While travelling across the country with my three dogs, I called this hotel in the afternoon to book a room for this evening. I told the person on the phone that I was travelling with three dogs, two large dogs and one small. I actually spoke at length with the person on the phone about the dogs and she also was an animal lover. I was able to book my hotel room with a credit card and received a confirmation e-mail.
I always try to stay at La Quintas because they are very pet friendly. However, when I arrived at this specific hotel in Shreveport the receptionist was on the phone with another customer and was speaking very rudely to them, I was just glad it wasn't me. Once she was done on the phone I informed her that I was here to check-in and that I had a reservation for myself and my dogs.
She asked how many dogs I had and I told her that I had three dogs with me. She informed me that they only allow two dogs and they can't weigh a combined weight of more than 100lbs. I told her that I had made a reservation and told the person on the phone that i had three dogs and described their sizes to them and it didn't seem like it was going to be an issue. She reiterated to me that they only allow two dogs. I asked if she could make an exception for me considering it wasn't my fault that someone else made a mistake. She said that they only allow two dogs again. I asked if they could make an exception and I was a loyalty member. She said that she would have to call the manager and that the manager would definitely say "No".
After coming to the conclusion that they would not be allowing me to stay at this hotel with my dogs I told her to cancel my reservation and I left. After driving all day this was extremely frustrating and I had to find another hotel that would allow me to stay with my three dogs. I had to drive another 45 minutes to the next city to a pet friendly hotel that would allow my dogs.
