Exploring Dog-friendly St. Augustine, FL

This photo was taken in St. Augustine, FL. Take a road trip to the oldest city in the USA. šŸš—

For spring break fun for the whole family, look no further than St. Augustine which offers an incredible variety of activities that welcome furry spring breakers. Begin your trip by taking a cruise with St. Augustine Eco Tours. Fido can experience the popular Dolphin, Birding and Nature Tour. Your boat captain will serve as your guide, educating you on marine ecology as you keep an eye out for turtles, bottlenose dolphins, and various bird species that call Florida home. If youā€™re lucky, you may even spot a manatee or two. After returning to port, walk over to O.C. Whiteā€™s Restaurant for delicious seafood and spirits on the dog-friendly garden patio. šŸš¤šŸ•šŸ¤

Just because itā€™s spring break doesnā€™t mean you canā€™t brush up on history. While youā€™re in the Ancient City, schedule some time for you and your canine explorer to walk in the footsteps of Juan Ponce de LeoĢn with an expedition to the Fountain of Youth Archaeological Park. Start with exhibits on the Native Americans and Spaniards who once inhabited this land. After learning about the historic settlements, take your pup on a stroll along the Founders Riverwalk, a 600-foot-long observation platform overlooking the Matanzas Bay. When itā€™s time to cool down, go to the parkā€™s Discovery Globe, you and your dog can watch a show in an air-conditioned theater. Before leaving, stop by the Spring House and let Fido have his drink from the Fountain of Youth. ā›²ļøšŸ¶šŸ’¦
