From the very first phone call to the moment I opened the door, this owner was unwelcoming and condescending to say the least.
First call, owner didn’t even bother saying the name of the business or have a welcome greeting. Which I believe is the least you could do if you run a professional business.
I booked a grooming a week out and the owner assumed my dog had no vaccinations and demanded them to be sent over which I quickly sent via email. His response was “received” with no follow up or confirmation of my appointment.
We had booked a 9am with him on the phone and had to leave early to walk over (30min walk). It had rained recently and the streets were wet. As we approached the front door, this short angry man was shaking his head and rudely asked “can I help you!?” Again, not a welcome I was expecting. To which I replied “good morning, I have a 9am appointment booked for today” He continued to explain that he could not take my dog because she was “wet”. She was not wet. Only her paws were. He began explaining why he couldn’t do a sanitary trim because her feet were wet...(she did not need a full cut) I was genuinely intrigued and said “oh, interesting, and Wh—“ he cuts me off. “I’M NOT GOING TO EXPLAIN HOW I DO MY BUSINESS TO YOU. AND WHAT DO YOU DO FOR A LIVING!? etc.” He continued to berate me. This was extremely rude and certainly an unusual conversation to have with a customer. I stopped him by saying “thank you, but I’ll take my business elsewhere”
This is just my experience with this business, and you don’t need to take my word for it. But if he treats one customer like this. I’m afraid to ask what he’s done to others.
