Two pups, puggle and goldendoodle

Friendly staff, comfortable and clean, good value, good place to walk dogs. Good breakfast but had to go outside to eat it with your dog.

Hotel was nice, rooms were clean, and the staff were friendly. But $75 pet fee for one night seemed excessive. There was not any complimentary coffee or water, except coffee in the room. Creamer was curdled in the room and the cold water facet for the sink was broken so those things were more noticeable. Staff did take mercy and gave us coffee from the Starbucks machine. There is a grassy area but watch your step. Clearly some folks didn’t pick up after their pups.

Oh my goodness- so yummy and authentic! Big patio with covered areas was super dog friendly. Will be back!

Clean room, great check-in, friendly staff that love people and dogs, and good grassy areas to walk our dog and places to eat within walking distance. What's not to like? We will be back.

Good field next door to walk your pup. All that you expect from Comfort Inn.

The only pet friendly room is a detached micro tiny home. The bed is on a loft accessed by ladder with a bathroom underneath. We did not realize till after non refundable payment was made. Ended up sleeping on a futon below due to knee surgery. Pros: space was very clean, close to town and breakfast (a waffle with fruit on) was tasty, yard was nice. Cons: I know folks have stuff going on but other than showing us our space there was no interaction with hosts. Breakfast was silently put in front of us in empty, still dining room and we never saw host again. Would have been nice if bedding for futon, ice, a hair dryer or Kleenex was available.

Friendly staff, good food but absolutely do not allow dogs on patio. There are a couple sidewalk tables where you can sit with your pup.

Friendly, kind waitstaff, a nice shaded patio and very good food. Staff was wonderful with dogs and people alike. We will be back.

Used to be one of our favorite dog friendly stops but n Asheville, however recent experience waiter was not very dog or human friendly- never smiled, appeared irritated throughout, very lackluster service. To be fair all our previous times there were much more pleasant and the patio is nice. Food is decent pub fare.

We really enjoyed our stay. Room was comfy and you could walk to everything in Asheville. People seemed to really enjoy having the dogs there. Parking was a bit pricey, but the valets were extremely nice. There was no treat bag at check-in, nor any toys, etc, though they did give our pup a dog biscuit. Happy hour with all the friendly folk and dogs and free wine was a lot of fun. There is no pet fee so I guess that is the trade-off with the parking fee. We will go back.

Could not have been happier with our stay. Bed was so comfy. Staff were friendly and loved on our pup. Good field outside and dog friendly restaurant in walking distance. What a great place!

This lodge was perfect for us and our pup. Owner was so welcoming and clearly loves dogs. There is a great place to walk your dog with hiking trail close by as well. Room was cute and clean and the bed was super comfy. Best night's sleep I have had in a week. Second time staying and plan to be back.

This was probably my favorite experience last year on MDI. Folks on boat were very friendly and loved on our two dogs. The islands were beautiful and the trip out there was lovely. Plan to do a repeat this year.

This was a very dog friendly inn. The hostess was super kind, our pups were comfortable and so were we. I was not sure how it would work at a B&B with two dogs but it was great. The breakfast was incredibly yummy, water and snacks available and town was just a couple blocks away. We hope to return next year.

Comfort Suites did everything to make our pups feel welcome - a treat bag on check-in, a cleverly, sweetly worded letter to our pets gently/kindly presenting rules. The beach was a short drive away. There was a good spot for walking dogs, with bags provided and nice outdoor seating area. Southport had lots of dog friendly dining as well. Just wish we were there longer. Hats off to staff at the inn.
