Pleasant walk around the circle of historic buildings. Recently had an HGTV hometown update. People were friendly and did some other dog meet and greets. Not many restaurants open but it was a Monday morning! Had a great Cuban breakfast sandwich at Hacienda Bakery

Brought water for the pup. Shaded in late afternoon. Try the Brunswick Stew, collard greens and onion rings.
Enjoyed the pulled pork and beef brisket.

Enjoyed our meals from the Saturday brunch menu. Pup had plenty of room. Two other dogs on the street side patio while we were there.

Well maintained except some owners need to remember to pick up after their dogs. Plenty of bags available. Perimeter has shaded areas. Drinking fountains available.

The service was excellent. Water bowl for the pup! We had a wonderful luncheon meal! We will be back.

I think that there are new owners. We hadn’t been there in a while. Most recent trip was with our dog. There are 3 outdoor tables. We didn’t ask for a dog water bowl not was one offered. Food has been good breakfast diner fare. Hubby likes the French toast and another time the country fried steak. I have enjoyed the grit bowl and biscuit n gravy. Eggs are cooked as ordered and food was served hot!

it is a beautiful stop. views are wonderful. Other reviews said 1.4 miles. It is over 2 miles. The hike starts paved and gradual but becomes very rooted and large step ups as it climbs. just fyi.

We have taken our pup there a couple of times. Good diner food, daily specials and pies. Shade is good at most tables.

Outdoor patio accommodated our dog well. Good food and drink.

Patio seating was good even on a warm summer day in Franklin. Iced water came out pronto. Dog menu was posted on a small menu stand. We did not order for our puppy. human food was good. Nice salads along with burgers hotdogs and sandwiches. We would go again!

Had an overnight stay in Perry. Bring Fido and the Hampton Inn recommended this restaurant. perfect downtown setting with people and puppies walking about. Southern food was great and provided a water bowl for our pup.
