Very nice for the price
Red Roof Inn & Suites LongviewThis is one of the nicer dog friendly motels. It was built in 2009 but still looks very nice. My only objection, was that it had no breakfast. Other than that it was quiet, clean, and very affordable at under $90. Plus there is no extra fee for a dog like there is at best Western plus.
Very nice people own the hotel
Best Western OkmulgeeI would give it five bones but the smoke smell on the first floor was very intense. Also, you had to ask for sausage and eggs as they were not out in the buffet area. I don’t understand why owners don’t isolate smoking rooms to the third-floor, so other people don’t have to walk down hallways on the first floor to smell it. Other than that I would stay here again.
Great location and dog friendly
Best Western Plus Longview University HotelWe stayed one night with our very large golden doodle. He is voice trained, so we never use a leash. Nobody in the motel said anything derogatory about an unleashed dog. They seem to be very accommodating, and even have rooms where there have not ever been any cats. That was huge for me, as I am very allergic to cats. We would definitely stay here again. The rate, for a king suite, including the dog fee was $134. I think it is a bit pricey for the area, but it was new and clean. They had bacon eggs and sausage for breakfast, along with pastries.
Great place with great food.
Dog Days Bar & Grillwe had the baked seafood pasta and a pulled pork sandwich. Both were very good
