When we arrived, due to a water leak on the third floor and the elevator being non-operational, we were placed on the third floor with two small Maltese dogs. I had to make 10 trips up and down the stairs to get everything to our room. The room was clean and spacious but putting guests on the third floor with pets was a major problem.

Rooms are dinky but the bed was comfortable. Room smelled of urine, bought a room freshener to mask the smell. I know that we are in West Texas but a Pet Waste Area with “No Grass” is inappropriate. Breakfast was average. If all new Hampton Inns are this smaller room footprint I won’t be staying in these newer hotels in the future.

After checking into our room we discovered that a young family with kids were staying above us and the kids wouldn't stop running and making noise. After visiting the front desk, we were moved to another quieter section of the Hotel where we wouldn't be bothered by the noise and our dog wouldn't bark at every noise he heard. Definitely would stay there again.
