Great spot - hidden gem
Coastal Discovery MuseumThis property is much larger than expected. There are shaded trails, as well as pastures and gardens to explore with your pup. Onsite restrooms for the humans. So glad we discovered this place!
Great Park
Chaplin Community ParkLovely facilities here, it is worth it just to walk around and see the tennis courts, basketball courts, playground, sports fields, beach access, and the dog park of course!! Years ago we brought our kids, and now we bring our pup!
Cool spot
Jarvis Creek General StoreAfter reading about this store on Bring Fido, we decided to check it out, and we’re glad we did! The store has an interesting selection of snacks, ready to go meals, craft beer, wine , souvenirs and more. We were allowed to take our pup in while browsing. Outside there were lots of tables , outdoor tvs, cornhole game, and food truck. Definitely worth a stop! Great vibe.
Great stay
Ansonborough InnGreat location to explore the beautiful historic district of Charleston on foot. Staff welcomed our dog with treat bag and list of pet friendly places. Wine and cheese hour was great after a long day of driving. Beautiful room. Easy parking, and we could stay parked there during the day of checkout. Pet fee reasonable in comparison to other hotels in the historic district.
Quick Bite at Palmetto Dunes
Palmetto Dunes General StoreBasic but tasty food available for lunch, including chicken tenders, fried chicken, sides, pizza, and a few choices of sandwiches. Several large picnic tables outside to eat with your pup, plus some covered outdoor porch seating.
Nice spot!
Lucky Beach Bar + KitchenAfter a morning walk at the nearby park and beach, we had a short drive to this restaurant. We were welcomed by the friendly staff, and could choose any table on the patio. A water bowl was promptly provided. The food was delivered quickly and was very good!
