Paddle With Your Pup

We went here after finding out Volunteer Park is not dog-friendly. Our dog enjoyed hiking the shaded trails. There’s a paddle board/kayak rental place near the boat ramp that allows dogs to ride in the kayaks. We had a great time paddling to Goose Island and the surrounding beaches.

Great Tacos

A bit late on this review, but we loved our visit here. A nice spot near downtown, but away from all the bustle and traffic. The conversion from an old gas station is very creative and makes for lots of outdoor dining. We were seated immediately and the dogs were given water. The tacos and margaritas were excellent. This has become a staple for my family and the doggo.
