Not an off leash dog park
Dinosaur Caves ParkThis is a park with playground, green space, and benches along the path overlooking the water. It is definitely not an off leash dog park. It doesn't advertise itself as a dog park, so I'm not sure what It is on the list.

Fun and safe dog park
Paws & PintsWe visited in the late afternoon and it wasn't too busy. We are not from the area and were looking for a way to tire out our 5 month old pup. I don't normally take my dog to dog parks, as I feel many times people don't pay attention to their dogs. Luckily this wasn't the case. People seemed to stick close to their dogs and were very friendly. The employees were very good. They seemed to know so many of the dog's names. The space is great, and my pup had a fantastic time and got really tired out.

Nice dog friendly hotel
The Oxbow HotelThe sole purpose of our trip was to introduce our puppy to road trips. We stayed one night at the Oxbow in a king flat room. Staff was friendly and room was fine. We liked having a record player and a library of records to check out. Wisconsin has different rules, so dogs are not permitted anywhere food is served or prepared. So, we were not able to eat at the restaurant or sit in the bar. We could hang in the lobby, and we did order drinks to bring up to our room. Main desk woman was friendly, and gave our pup some treats. It is in a good location, close to Phoenix Park and downtown Eau Claire.

Dogs allowed inside and out
Lazy Monk BrewingWisconsin has rules that don't allow a dog in where food is served/cooked. It can be difficult to find a place to eat/drink with your pooch if it isn't patio weather. The Lazy Monk is a beer hall - no food served, so therefore is dog friendly inside and out. Stop by someplace else and grab your takeout and head here to eat it with a brew and your pooch. Beer is pretty good, but since it is the only place you can eat inside with your pup, it doesn't really matter. Staff was friendly and the atmosphere is like being in a German bar. Prost!
