Great all around

Great location in downtown DC was a quick walk or ride to everything. Walking at night and early morning felt safe in this location. Check-in/checkout was fast and easy. They were very informative about the rooms and which ones would be booster vs quiet and gave us the choice. They also check in via text message to make sure you are good. The room was clean and everything was comfortable. We traveled with 2 large show dogs and had plenty of room for their crate and all of the extra necessities.

You pay for everything in DC so if you’re going to valet plan on the expense. There are also a number of amenities and you will pay a resort fee. Our trip was short so we didn’t have time to take advantage of the amenities but they gave us vouchers. We would stay here again. Kimpton is our favorite dog friendly hotel group. Just because you travel with dogs doesn’t mean you can’t have quality stays.

We felt the love

First we couldn’t believe the ambiance for the price we paid to stay. From the valet, check in/check out, to the room we couldn’t have hoped for a better stay. Our room was a good size for two adults and two large dogs. It was clean, quiet, and comfortable. It was convenient to walk to the harbor and many local restaurants. Our dogs were treated like royalty too. We are looking forward to going back again. Thank you for such a wonderful experience!

Welcome Party of 4

It’s always a great stay at an Aloft. Our check-in was speedy. The staff was beyond courteous and even asked if we had a floor preference. Our room was clean and cozy. The convenience of a grassy dog area across the street about the size of a football field was convenient for potty time and playing. There were plenty of dog friendly establishments in the neighborhood too. We travel a lot for dog shows and don’t always have the option of nicer hotels at a reasonable price. I’ve stayed in Aloft hotels in a few different cities. They never disappoint. We felt beyond welcome at Aloft and will be sure to reserve a room here again next time we are in VA. Thank you for a wonderful stay. Oh, the best we have slept in a long time-no need to bring travel sheets and blanket!
