I was asked to leave the small bar area with my (clearly marked) service dog. I believe it’s clearly violates the ADA rules.

Great beach, but not everyone has well behaved dogs AND it’s off leash.

Maybe THE MOST pet friendly Marriott I’ve ever been to! Great staff, great location and GREAT rooftop restaurant/bar for sunsets and beautiful views! The rooftop is VERY pet friendly and welcoming. I’ve already booked a repeat trip here in 2 weeks with my dog! LOVE IT! Highly recommend staying here! The ONLY drawback is they don’t have a dog walking area so you have to walk around the 7-11. 😏

My service dog and I walked inside to use the restroom. He only had on his “service dog” collar, not his full vest in the FL summer heat of 100*. We were immediately approached by a man that said we couldn’t be inside. I reminded him of the heat and showed him the collar. He agreed it was okay to use the restroom and very sternly reminded me the health department would only recognize a full vest with credentials. I completely understand his side as a restaurateur, and I’m not upset with his reasoning. I’m upset with the harsh way my dog and I were approached in his establishment. We were advised we could go upstairs to the rooftop where it’s dog friendly, but that the elevator wasn’t working and it was about a 4 story climb of steps that I was not doing in the heat or make my dog do it. Won’t go back.

The staff bends over backwards to welcome dogs! Super friendly and good food! Definitely will be back!

Wonderful accommodations, but few places to eat. Excellent location to get out and walk with your dog on leash but very small pet relief area and no play area. Terrible mosquito problems beginning at dusk due to directly on the river. Beware! Staff was very kind to my dog. We will definitely visit again!

After trying many different “dog friendly” restaurants in Marathon Key, this one, BY FAR, is the best! They welcome us by name! Tony, the bartender, is most welcoming at the front door. I HIGHLY recommend visiting here!

Found this great place in the Bring Fido app! My Doberman and I LOVED it! Great food and prices and the staff couldn’t have been any nicer! I’ll be back if I’m ever here again!!!!

Definitely the cleanest, nicest dog park we’ve ever visited! Shaded on turf, so no muddy paws! Highly recommend! Great location.

Great laid back location along a canal and great food. My Doberman and I had a nice relaxing time and will be sure to visit again.
