stopped here on long road trip. park and then walk the path past the little building to get to the actual dog park! no one else when we got there but still a great space for Duke to run a bit. eventually a local couple brought a couple dogs and the three had a blast! they said it’s a relatively new park and not very busy ever. only poop disposal is outside of fence at front entrance FYI

duke was one of 5 dogs on the patio and got love from all staff! all dogs and owners were well behaved and we had a great time. duke also got plenty of ice water and attention. side note - try the spicy green beans! great veggie side

if you love ice cream this place is a must! nothing special for dogs but he was allowed to come inside with me just while I ordered (necessary when traveling solo!). only allowed to hang out with dog at 3 small outdoor tables though. a stranger sitting next to us gave duke the last little lick from his bowl and he was in doggy heaven! ice cream 1000/10!

you do need a dog pass (purchase online, day pass = $8 and well worth it!) unpaved trail circles park. tons of grass and trees and areas for pups to go in water. however water was pretty mucky everywhere except right at the dock so I didn’t let duke swim much in it. overall such a cool dog park and he was absolutely exhausted after multiple running with other dogs around it!

Duke had a blast. $10 entry & sign quick waiver then grab a beer and head outside! small gravel area where band is (when there’s live music) and where children can be - dog ON leash inside taproom and in this gravel area. then double-gate entrance into HUGE off-leash area with tons of grass, benches, picnic tables, and even lawn chairs you can grab and set up anywhere. great experience, Duke loved being able to run around and greet everyone! no children in off leash area which is a huge plus for us because Duke loves children and will jump up to lick their face or accidentally knock them over (we’re working on it lol) great for him to have free run without me having to worry about that!

my dog had THE BEST time here! I did too because parking was easy (with bathrooms and water station in lot!) and it was a quick walk down to the beach! saw quite a few other dogs! first tried west beach (only open to dogs during pre-season, once life guards start working for the summer NO dogs allowed here) but parking lot was closed off and it’s off of a private neighborhood so no where to park 😕 checked back here and followed recommendations to Kemil beach and was beyond thrilled! so worth the $25 park pass (good for 7 days)

We almost skipped but I’m so glad I took Duke here before we headed out of town! it is HUGE and everyone was super friendly. tons of grass and a nice sidewalk paved walking trail around entire dog park. I would go there all the time if we lived close!

My dog was very welcomed (no extra fee!), bed was very comfy and room very clean. Not much renovation happening while we were there. Plenty of grass for pups.

People were super friendly and no issues for my pup! But owners beware, both beds in the room were extremely uncomfortable. I’m not super picky, but it literally felt like they were just box springs without an actual mattress.

Staff was friendly, whole hotel was very clean, lots of parking, SUPER comfortable bed, good for dog (not a ton of grassy space nearby but there’s enough). Would definitely stay here again.
