Dog friendly and all around NICE hotel

Hyatt Place Las Vegas at Silverton Village

Great place to stay with or without your pup!

Hotel is still on the new side. They were very welcoming of our dog. At checkin they give you a special door sign that you can use if you decide to leave your pet in your room so the staff knows to not go in.... we would never leave our fur-kid in a room by himself but I realize some people do and for those this aspect goes to show they are pet accommodating. The fee for your pet was a very reasonable (for Vegas) $75 for the STAY (not per night like some of the hotels listed as pet friendly). We saw a lot of other pet owners there.

For the humans: the hotel was very clean. Breakfast was complimentary AND had a lot of options... not a skimpy danish and coffee bar.... a pretty nice full bar. They had 3 different juices, various milk options (cow, coconut, almond etc), oatmeal, fruit, yogurt, eggs, bacon or sausage (depending on the day), toast and waffles or chocolate churro bread pudding. It is off the strip, which we liked bec it meant it was quieter despite being in Vegas. This also meant more area to walk our dog for potty breaks- keep in mind this is the desert folks so we aren’t talking grass. Also for those that like this: a Cracker Barrel restaurant was across the parking lot which provided take out.

All in all... we liked it so much that on our return trip we booked at another Hyatt in a different state and crossing our fingers it’s as nice as this one!

Very dog friendly!!

Hot Rod Cafe

Owner and staff very dog friendly! Never been here before- stopped on our way to the Grand Canyon. Wasn’t sure how to go about making sure the knew we had our dog/ were they really as dog friendly as advertised.... and they were! Went in to the lil diner, saw a gentleman and asked if we could dine with our dog, he was great with directing me to the outside patio area. We humans got ourselves situated and the owner (I believe) came out to great us with menus, a large bowl of ice water AND a doggy treat for our fur-kid. Food was very tasty and the waitress checked on us several times to make sure we didn’t need anything. Highly recommend!
