Grace
I and my husband are recent ‘empty nesters’, kids grown, our last dog passed 7 months ago. We just adopted a 6 year old Malamute. He is our Gentle Giant.

Nice hotel for short stay
The Smart Stay InnI didn’t know there were two separate buildings. We were there for only two nights and were happy to have a room in the building closest to the dog park, which was nice to let our dog go in off the leash as long as there were no other dogs there. I think if we were in the front building the noise from the highway may have been more noticeable. Overall it’s a nice place to stay. The breakfast had lots of good options, and the nearby eateries Taco’s Queen and Tropical Smoothie Cafe were very good and convenient. The room itself was very nicely appointed for the price. We would definitely stay there again.
Great for large dogs
Surf & Sand HotelOur Alaskan Malamute and my husband and I had the best time here! Surf & Sand is in the perfect location with pet friendly restaurants and dog parks (which are beaches!). Not to mention the private beach in the back which we thoroughly enjoyed. The staff was so very friendly and took such good care of us! will definitely go back if we’re ever in Pensacola Beach again!
