The Hawthorne is a beautiful place to stay. Everyone is friendly and helpful, it's clean and the bed is comfortable, and pillows are soft. My dog got a treat upon arrival and scratches behind his ears, he was very happy

The food was great here! My boy got the hamburger from the doggy menu, and there was ice in his water bowl, great for a warm day and the long walk we just did.

My waiter was so kind and helpful. My boy was brought water in what looks like a fancy bowl. The food was awesome!

We had a wonderful lunch, There's even options for your pup, choices are grilled chicken or hamburger. A bowl of water is set out and they are very dog friendly. Of course, its patio seating. I highly recommend if you are visiting the Lake Placid region.

We had a wonderful stay! The staff was great and very friendly! They supply a dog bed, and food and water bowls, even a bandana for your pup. Great place to stay for you and your pup!
