Great Stay, Very Dog Friendly
Rose's MotelLove this little motel. Friendly owner, clean and cozy room and pup friendly. Fridge and microwave and quiet setting. exceeded expectations and met our needs. Don’t hesitate to stay here!
Not For A Solo Traveler With A Dog
Fuzzy's Taco ShopThis is a fast-food style restaurant so it’s not possible to go inside to order when you are traveling solo with your four-legged buddy. My low rating has nothing to do with the food, which I didn’t get a chance to eat. It’s based solely on not being solo-traveler friendly.
Great Stay
Econo Lodge VicksburgVery clean and well cared for. Close to highway ramps. Their pet fee is only $10! That was much appreciated. Breakfast was decent. Recommended!
Pretty Good
Shreveport Dog ParkThis is a decent park. I can only speak to the big dog side. It’s big, but most of the space is taken up by two ponds. When it’s warm and if your dog is into water, it would be great. There’s a sign telling you that toys aren’t allowed. I had never seen that before—maybe there’s been trouble there before. My dog is mostly focused on chasing balls and not on other dogs, so it’s not ideal for us.
Huge Play Area
Camp Barkeley Dog ParkBig and small dog areas, both large. My pup loved it. I was there in February and it was hot. There’s no shade to speak of, so I can imagine it’s brutally hot. That’s the only drawback I saw and that’s pretty easily fixed.
