We discovered this place on our drive north from Florida. It was perfect for our pooch. She could run around with lots of dogs, play on the splash pad, hop in a steel bucket to cool off and climb all over the ASTRO turf obstacles. And all the while we could sip a beer/fruit drink! We would come here all the time if we lived nearby. They do offer different types of memberships. Must have at least an electronic copy of vet records. Fortunately our vet emailed ours to us right away. Definitely a must stop whenever we go this way again!

Literally right on the beach! Great ocean view from the unit. We watched the sunrise every morning from our bed. Also watched the full moon come up in the evening. Just steps to the beach walkway. Wash off hose available after the beach. Free dog friendly shuttle into downtown St Augustine. Simple custom breakfast provided each morning. This was an budget extravagance for us but we enjoyed ourselves as did our pooch.

Easy check-in. Very nice room accommodations. Enough grassy areas for pup to sniff. So nice to find a motel that doesn’t charge an extra fee for a dog.

We are in town for just a week to do some fishing. We took our the dogs to the dog park this evening and they had a blast. The Girl Scouts did a great job sponsoring the park. It will be even better when the trees get bigger and can offer more shade. Always nice to discover a free dog park while traveling.
