The room was very clean. Everyone was so nice. The only downside was the shower was small. Not a problem for me, but might be for some. Lots of restaurants and Hickory run state park close by. Can’t wait to go again when the weather is warmer.

We loved our stay here. The room was beautiful, very clean, and had a kitchenette. Plates, cups and silverware were provided and they were clean as well. It was heated by a gas fireplace that gave it a cozy feel. The only downside is the room was described as having a Mountain View, which it did, but it is right next to a busy highway, the main lodge is in the other side. You will need to call the hotel if you want linen service (which I think is having linen, I had to put it on the bed). If you are planning a trip to the state parks, check for closings, the best trail was closed (possibly fire to rain).

Room was very clean, staff very nice. Dog area was well lit, bags were supplied, and was kept clean.

My first room was a little dusty and the toilet was leaking so they had to move me to a different room. I had to take all of my things (dog, travel kennel, suitcase, cooler) to the first floor via the only working elevator all the way at the other end of the building. They gave me a larger room, but the mattress was infested with bed bugs. I asked for a refund which he gladly did when I showed him the pictures of the bed bugs.

Just to be forewarned, there is not an elevator (you’ll have to carry your things up a flight or two of stairs) and no refrigerators in the rooms (although the desk offered to keep anything needing refrigeration down there for you.)
I had an issue with the mattress pad but the front desk staff was as accommodating as she could be. All of the staff was very friendly and the room was gorgeous. Situated in a nice, quiet, beautiful town.

It was on the bottom floor, clean, close to the exit, and the staff couldn’t have been nicer.

It’s close to a lot of the must sees and lots of restaurants. And the room was very clean.

We traveled from PA to walk Bear Mountain Reserve. We arrived around 11 and it was raining heavily. They let us check into a different room early. I have no idea what we would have done for 4 hours. The staff was very nice and the room was very clean.

All of the pets stayed on the same floor. The hallway had a faint smell, but that wasn’t unexpected. The room was bigger than expected and very clean. The staff couldn’t have been nicer or more helpful. There’s a grassy section for your pup to go potty, but there were many areas where the owners didn’t clean up after their pets. ( It is not the staff’s job.)
